<div>Seeking qualified applicant to work as a Group Home Supervisor, overseeing staff and clients in a residential setting. Our clients come from a variety of backgrounds and require a trauma-informed approach to service delivery. You will gain extensive knowledge and understanding of mental and behavioral health issues. We will provide monthly ongoing psychosocial training to increase your abilities and capacity to work with at-risk youth.

Take Note: This position will require you to obtain a full DFS County background and Reference check, Nevada Residence fee is $45, and out-of-state residents relocating to Nevada will have additional fees, TB, CPR, and internal testing before beginning your contract with the agency. We do not cover the costs for any of the testing or clearances, so some up-front costs exist. However, we can provide up to 40 hours per week if you meet all expectations and engage in quality services with our clients. 


Job responsibilities: 

<ul>
<li>Oversee and monitor day to day direction of staff and clients in a residential setting</li>
<li>Create daily agendas to provide guidance and direction to staff</li>
<li>Responsible to oversee the completion of daily tasks by staff</li>
<li>Responsible for afterhours communication directly and indirectly with staff</li>
<li>Responsible for the safety and supervision of staff and clients in respective suites</li>
<li>Respond to crisis</li>
<li>Provide and maintain a safe home and work environment for staff and clients</li>
<li>Responsible for attending all scheduled meetings and ability to both share information during the meeting as well as communicating to department pertinent information from the meeting</li>
<li>Have a general sense of Trauma-Informed Practices - We are willing to teach as well!

<li>Must be Flexible.</li></ul> 


Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>
Must be able and willing to work Evenings (2pm - 10:30pm)' Weekends (6am - 2:30pm and 2pm - 10:30pm) and Overnights as needed</li>
<li>Computer and Software Knowledge</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills</li>
<li>Multitasking and the ability to work with diverse people</li>
<li>Able to work in a fast-paced environment and handle crises.</li>
<li>Required to assist with on-call crisis intervention</li>
<li>Must have your own, reliable vehicle - Auto Insurance must be in your name or as a designated driver to the policy.</li>
<li>Must have and maintain a Nevada driver&rsquo;s license, clean driving record and be 25 years of age or older.</li>
<li>All training requirement for this position are held at our Main Office Location</li>
<li>Fingerprinting for Background check costs begin at $45 for Nevada residents. Out-of-state residents will have additional costs depending on the state.</li></ul> 


Education and Professional Work Experience Requirements: 


We require you to have a Bachelor Degrees in one of the following degree programs:

<li>Human Development and Family Studies</li>
<li>Nursing</li>
<li>Community Health Sciences or Health Ecology</li>
<li>Early Childhood Education</li>

<li>Criminal Justice</li>
<li>Public Health</li></ul> 


Preferred: 
<ul>
<li>
At least 2 years of experience working with children</li>
<li>At least 1 year of management/supervisory experience</li>
<li>At least 1 year of experience in a residential setting</li>
<li>Social Services Experience</li>
<li>ABA/RBT Background</li>
<li>Familiar with Clinical terminology and HIPAA-related policies</li></ul></div>

Job Type: Part-Time and Full-Time Positions available

Pay: $20.00 per hour 
Job responsibilities: 
<ul>
<li>
Providing skills and teaching 1:1 with the client in community and home settings.</li>
<li>Providing interventions on improving basic living skills and social skills including interpersonal functioning, communication skills, parent training, etc.</li>
<li>Working with the identified client and his/her family using a psycho-educational approach along with behavior modification and insight-oriented counseling.</li>
<li>Attend Monthly Supervision</li>
<li>Must be proficient in clinical terminology and have the ability to write clear and concise notes on client interactions</li>
<li>Must have proficient knowledge of software</li>
<li>Job hours may require after-hours Crisis Intervention as we work with children (Typical Hours are 2 PM to 8 PM Daily)</li>
<li>Have a general sense of Trauma-Informed Practices - We are willing to teach as well</li>
<li>Engage Training is Required
