Requirements</b></h2><div><ul><li><b>
Current insurance license and should be working toward or hold the CISR designation</b></li><li><b>
Typically have spent 1 to 2 years as a Processor and/or Assistant Account Manager</b></li><li>
High School education required with college degree preferred or equivalent experience &amp;/or education</li><li><b>
Good working knowledge of Commercial Property/Casualty coverages.</b></li><li>
Ability to work with computer technology including use of Word and Excel or other relevant programs.
</li><li>Ability to operate computers and general office equipment</li><li>
Aptitude for accuracy in mathematical calculations</li><li>
Demonstrates professional tactful negotiation and persuasion skills to achieve objectives.</li><li>
Organizational and Time Management skills to prioritize workloads and meet deadlines.</li>
Verbal, written and interpersonal skills to interact with associates at all levels of responsibility.<br>

<h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>Responsibilities</b></h2><div><p><b>
Renewal &amp; New Business</b></p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>
May initiate or attend meetings with the producer(s) to discuss marketing plans for accounts that expire up to 120 days in advance.
</li><li>On accounts where requested, reviews expiring exposure and requests exposure updates from the clients; on new business enters completed applications in EPIC provided by the producer.
</li><li>In coordination with the producer prepares and sends out submissions to markets and/or quote products on-line.</li><li>
Analyzes customers insurance needs and compares insurance packages considering risk and price of coverage.</li><li>
Authority to execute and bind the Agency and its customers to insurance and finance contracts.
</li><li>Review quotes, make recommendations, and verify that coverages are as desired and prepare proposal;
</li><li>Bind Coverage with carrier prior to expiration; invoice all accounts within the month they are incepted;
</li><li>Ensure Auto IDs are issued in advance of renewal.</li><li>
Prepare and issue renewal certificates.
</li><li>Process automatic renewals from companies in advance of expiration;</li><li>
Work with Processor/Assistant to prepare policies to send being sure to check work prepared;</li>
Prepare summaries and complete policy checks.<br>

<p><b>Accounting/Audits</b></p><br>
<p></p><ul><li>
Responsible for resolving accounting discrepancies to producers and clients.
</li><li>Works with producer(s) to manage accounts receivable; paying particular attention to balances over 90 days old.</li></ul><p><b>
General<br>
</b></p><p></p><br>
<ul><li>Requests and tracks the processing of policy changes and endorsements; works with Processor in execution of this process</li><li>
Ensures the accuracy of information in the Agency Management System;
</li><li>Issues certificates within 24 hours and Auto ID Cards</li><li>
Orders Loss Runs when necessary; works with claims adjuster to assist in handling of claims as needed.
</li><li>Responsible for the accuracy of work given to Processor/Assistant.
</li><li>Processes endorsements w/ assistance from Processor/Assistant.</li><li>
Maintains positive and professional working relationships with clients, carriers and other employees in the office.</li></ul></div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
