The Residential Mortgage Lender is responsible for soliciting, negotiating, and originating residential mortgage and construction loans in compliance with the Bank&rsquo;s lending policies and procedures. This role involves participating in the attainment of established Bank goals and objectives through sales management, officer call programs, developing deposit and loan relationships, generating business for the Bank by maintaining good customer relations, and making referrals to appropriate business lines within the Bank.
Requirements:

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Generating New Business:<ul><li>Develop new client relationships through Bank referrals, active outside calling campaigns, and community involvement.</li><li>Participate in achieving annual deposit and loan growth goals.</li><li>Follow through on all inquiries and refer across business lines as appropriate.</li><li>Conduct periodic meetings and presentations on loan products internally and externally.</li><li>Representing the Bank in various community functions and organizations.</li></ul>
Maintaining Lending Knowledge:<ul><li>Maintain awareness and adhere to the changing lending and compliance laws, regulations and standards.</li><li>Stay current with changing guidelines for FHLMC, FHLB MPF, WHEDA, Fed VA, FHA, USDA, Portfolio, and other products as established as part of the Bank&rsquo;s loan product suite.</li><li>Attend and participate in loan department meetings.</li></ul>
Managing Portfolio:<ul><li>Meet with current and potential customers to negotiate loan terms and conditions.</li><li>Manage customer relationships within the loan portfolio.</li><li>Assist the credit department with monitoring the quality of the loan portfolio.</li><li>Gather and analyze information to present financing requests to the Loan Committee or Underwriting for approval.</li></ul>

Relationship Bankers serve a dual role for personal banking and teller responsibilities. This position sells products and services to existing customers and prospects. Relationship Bankers identify, expand upon and deepen customer relationships through reviewing and recommending appropriate products / services, and making referrals to other business lines. The position provides an exceptional customer experience through a genuine willingness to serve, an ability to articulate features and benefits of our products and services, efficiently and accurately processing of customer transactions, and always keeping our customers&rsquo; best interest in the forefront. Requirements:

Delivering Exceptional Banking Services:<ul><li>
Open and close a variety of deposit accounts for both retail and business clients, including checking, savings, money market, CDs, IRAs, and safe deposit boxes.</li><li>
Provide excellent service by addressing customer inquiries, resolving account issues, and ensuring transactions are processed accurately.</li><li>
Stay informed about our products, features, benefits, and procedures, ensuring customers receive accurate information and a positive experience.</li><li>
Identify cross-selling opportunities for credit cards, electronic banking solutions, consumer loans, mortgage loans, and more, enhancing customer relationships.</li><li>

Performing Teller Functions:<ul><li>
Maintain accuracy and efficiency in processing teller transactions, supporting the branch&rsquo;s operational integrity.</li><li>
Open and close the retail branch, performing routine tasks to ensure smooth operations at the start and end of each day.</li><li>
Adhere to all internal policies, procedures, and applicable laws and regulations, ensuring full compliance in all activities.</li><li>
Scan daily transactions accurately and on time, completing all administrative tasks with precision.</li></ul>
