Job Purpose &amp; Scope:
<p>
Performs a wide range of design duties under general supervision of a licensed architect, including designing and documenting small renovations and facilitating the work of project architects, engineers, and vendors for Bank construction upfit and remodel projects.</p>
Essential Job Functions:
<ul><li>Coordinates with architects, engineers, contractors, and vendors on construction projects.</li><li>
Produces schematic design presentations and construction documents for small-scale renovations and tenant infill projects.</li><li>
Assists in producing test fits for new sites targeted for acquisition.</li><li>
Communicates with leadership and end-users to establish building program and requirements under supervision.</li><li>
Assists in ensuring project specifications are accurate, compatible with the design intent, and are procured timely to ensure project completion.</li><li>
Creates detailed and accurate drawings to convey design intent.</li><li>
Assists in reviewing drawings for quality control, value engineering, and constructability.</li><li>
Researches products and materials and recommends alternate solutions to save time and money.</li><li>
Conducts site inspections and punch lists in coordination with construction managers.</li><li>
Drives an automobile on company business.</li><li>
Performs other duties as assigned.</li></ul><br>

Knowledge, Skills &amp; Abilities:
<ul><li>Basic knowledge of building technology, structures, building and accessibility codes, and space planning.</li><li>
Ability to create detailed and accurate drawings to convey design intent.</li><li>
Communicates effectively verbally, graphically, and in writing to customers, staff, vendors, and tenants.</li><li>
Demonstrates effective organization, critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>
Manages multiple tasks with exacting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>
Demonstrates excellent time management skills and attention to detail.</li><li>
Ability to work under general supervision.</li><li>
Demonstrates effective customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences.</li><li>
Maintains confidentiality.</li><li>
Ability to work extended hours and travel, including overnight stays, as needed.</li><li>
Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment.</li><li>
Skill in using computer, CAD Software (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.) and Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.</li></ul>
Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Architecture, Interior Design or related field, or commensurate work experience, required.</li><li>
1+ year of work experience applying computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, AutoCAD or Revit, etc., required.</li><li>
Valid driver&rsquo;s license and a good driving record required.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Preferred Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>
1+ year of work experience in architecture, interior design, construction, or related field, preferred.</li></ul>
