<div>The Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) provides a comprehensive health assessment and evaluation for patients in the clinic under the supervision of the medical director. This position provides health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of a physician including assessing, diagnosing, prescribing, treating, and educating patients. This position works closely with physicians and other clinicians in a team approach to patient care. The APRN orders and interprets appropriate tests i.e. labs, EKG, and Xrays under physician supervision.<ul><li>
Assesses patient status by obtaining health history through interviews and chart reviews; assessing presenting illness, risk factors, and family history, psychosocial situation, and cultural factors; and performing appropriate examination.</li><li>
Orders or performs appropriate laboratory diagnostic and other screening tests. Seeks other information as needed, including consultation with physicians for evaluation of illness. Integrates data to determine diagnosis and therapeutic plan, including identification of any health risks.</li><li>
Develops and implements treatment plan by prescribing/dispensing medications and/or injections in compliance with medical practice guidelines and state laws.</li><li>
Instructs and counsels patients regarding compliance with prescribed therapeutic regimens, normal growth and development, family planning, emotional problems of daily living, and health maintenance.</li><li>
Participates in peer reviews, chart reviews, staff education, clinical guideline development, and other continuing education and quality assurance activities to demonstrate compliance with standards, regulations, policies, and procedures. Develops and implements patient management plans, records progress notes, and assists in provision of continuity of care.</li><li>
Collaborates with physicians in managing acute and long-term medical needs of patient. Provides monitoring and continuity of care between visits according to treatment plan including triaging patient calls/e-mails.</li><li>
Functioning in a &ldquo;First Assist&rdquo; capacity to physician in the operating room, as outlined in the Medical Staff Bylaws. If applicable.</li></ul>

Ability to accurately screen and triage acute patients</li><li>
Skill in usage of medical diagnostic equipment, as well as working knowledge of instruments and supplies required to perform clinical procedures and physical examinations</li><li>

Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Excel and Access), database management, and electronic medical records systems and document preparation.</li><li>

Advanced Practice Provider - Urgent Care - Airport - PRN

<div>Under the direct supervision of licensed personnel, the patient care technician performs a variety of routine duties to assist the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care. This position spends the majority of his or her time interacting with, assisting, and supporting our patients. Along with ensuring a safe environment, this position develops with each individual a therapeutic relationship which is critical in the healing process.
What you will do<ul><li>
Responsibilities may include, but is not limited to assisting with ambulating and mobilization of patients, taking and recording the patient&rsquo;s vital signs (i.e., BP, Temperature, Pulse, Respirations, &amp; O2 sat), weighing patients, assisting with personal hygiene / AM Care (i.e., Oral Care, Bathing the patient, etc.), assisting with bedpans and toileting, catheter care, empty drains, turning bedridden patients or patients that need assistance with turning, linen changes, assisting with meal preparation, feeding patients, I&amp;O, light cleaning and organizing of patients room, answering call lights, and relaying pertinent information to the nurse.</li><li>
Demonstrates the skills and judgment necessary to provide direct care to patients in collaboration with licensed personnel.</li><li>
Performs all responsibilities/duties required by the department/division, as defined in the scope of service, to ensure that the unique nature of the client is addressed including: Sitting with patients and sitting with Baker Acted Patients.</li><li>
Maintains up-to-date and accurate documentation of data collected.</li><li>
Assumes clerical duties necessary to assist the healthcare team to provide patient care.</li><li>
Maintains supplies/inventory for department.</li><li>
Receives and directs phone calls and serves as the receptionist for the department.</li></ul>
