The APC functions autonomously and collaborates with other health professionals to provide high quality, cost effective care to patients, manages health care systems and influence health care decision-making through expert clinical reasoning, research, theory-based practice. The APC is responsible for providing direct patient care as part of the physician led team in accordance with State Law and approved Medical Staff privileges.
Minimum Education, Training and Experience Required:

</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree and successful completion of accredited APC program. Terminal degree in APC field preferred.
</li><li>National certification from the appropriate national certifying agency for the particular APC.
</li><li>Must maintain national certification.
</li><li>Eligible at all times to be insured for professional liability.
</li><li>Current valid and unrestricted license to practice as an APC in the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
</li><li>BCLS required through the American Heart Association.

APRN/Physician Assistant - Cardiology

BHMG Cardiology Lexington
The Clinical Device Coordinator is a patient educator, care coordinator, system navigator, and patient advocate with the mission to improve the cardiac experience for device patients at Baptist Health. The Clinical Device Coordinator works collaboratively with the patient and their support system, referring physicians and staff, cardiologists, EP Nurse Navigator, and other healthcare professionals to support the cardiac device patient through diagnosis and treatment. Provides professional clinical management of device patients under the direction of Electrophysiology Physicians.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
<ul><li>Associate degree or higher in nursing required
</li><li>Current unrestricted Kentucky or compact state license as a Registered Nurse OR licensed in the state of practice or Cardiac Specialist Certificate via Arrythmia Technologies Institute (ATI) OR certified vendor training (Abbott, Biotronik, Boston Scientific, Medtronic)
</li><li>At least 3 years of cardiology experience.
</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) via the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire and other advanced training as appropriate.

Nursing Assistant - Nursing Facility
Full-Time 7p - 7a
The Nursing Assistant performs designated tasks in the provision of age-appropriate care for patients under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse.
<ul><li>Obtains and documents reported height and weighs patient on admission and documents.
</li><li>Turns and positions patients every 2 hours as indicated, using proper body mechanics.
</li><li>Assists and promotes activity, ambulation, up in chair and other activities as ordered.
</li><li>Assists patients with personal hygiene, including as showering, bathing, shaving, shampooing, perianal-care, catheter care and oral care.
</li><li>Takes and records vital signs accurately within established time frame.
</li><li>Consistently performs hourly rounds to ensure patient safety and promote customer satisfaction.
</li></ul>Requirements:
<ul><li>High school diploma or equivalent (GED).
</li><li>Certified Nurse Aid certification required upon hire.
</li><li>Basic Life Support (BLS) required within 90 days of hire.

</h2>Performs Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT procedures to produce high-quality diagnostic images for radiologist interpretation. Provides patient care throughout the exam process while maintaining radiation safety standards and regulatory compliance. Serves neonatal, pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations.
<h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Key Responsibilities
</h3><ul><li>Perform Nuclear Medicine and PET/CT imaging procedures
</li><li>Ensure image quality and accurate documentation in EHR and PACS
</li><li>Maintain radiation safety standards and follow ALARA principles
</li><li>Perform quality control on equipment and maintain regulatory records
</li><li>Monitor patients during exams and perform venipuncture as needed
</li><li>Assist radiologists and authorized providers during procedures
</li></ul><h3 class="jobSectionHeader">Requirements
</h3><ul><li>Associate degree required
</li><li>Graduate of an accredited Nuclear Medicine program
</li><li>Less than one year experience required
</li><li>ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required
