Baptist Health is hiring an Office Specialist II at Baptist Cardiology, located at Baptist Silverleaf in Jacksonville, FL.</b> This is a full-time day-shift opportunity, and will report to work Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.</p><p></p><p><br>
As the Office Specialist II, you will provide business services for patients and the healthcare system. You will handle patient registration, posting charges and payments, and telephone protocols. This is a position for a focused, task-oriented and self-motivated individual who thrives in a busy atmosphere. Our ideal candidate is an energetic team player who excels in a professional setting.</p><p></p><p><b><br>
Office Specialist I Job Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>
Assisting patients as needed</p></li><li><p>
Reviewing and following up on unpaid insurance claims</p></li><li><p>
Processing mail on a daily basis</p></li><li><p>
Working with insurance carriers and Baptist Primary Care Centers</p></li><li><p>
Check in and check out</p></li><li><p>
Assisting with referrals as needed</p></li><li><p>
Scanning documents</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Experience Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>
One-Two Years Front Desk Experience Preferred</p></li><li><p>
Experience Working in a Medical Office Preferred</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
Education &amp; Credential Requirements:</b></p><ul><li><p>
High School Diploma or GED Equivalent Required</p></li></ul><p></p><p><b>
