We&rsquo;re Barks &amp; Recreation&mdash;a dog walking, pet sitting, and small pet care company serving Southeastern CT. Our mission is to help pets live their best lives and make life easier for their humans.  What You&rsquo;ll Do</b></h3><p>
As our Operations Coordinator, you&rsquo;ll:</p><ul><li>
Be the go-to person for staff and client communication</li><li>
Oversee the schedule, ensuring visits are properly assigned and coverage is always ready</li><li>
Support the team by coaching, giving feedback, and jumping into the field if needed</li><li>
Help manage our Client Journey, making sure each client feels supported and seen</li><li>
Work side by side with our founder to help move projects forward and keep everything humming</li><li>
Help with hiring and onboarding new team members</li><li>

&#9989; What You Need to Succeed</b></h3><ul><li>
2+ years in <b>customer service</b> and at least 1 year of <b>admin/scheduling experience</b></li><li>
Love for pets. Personal experience with dogs and cats preferred.</li><li>
Calm, cool, and collected&mdash;even when the day is a bit wild (which it is)</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and high emotional intelligence</li><li>
High attention to detail, organized, and tech-savvy (Slack, Google Drive, Loom, Monday.com, Canva, Buffer &amp; Time To Pet are some of the software's we use)</li><li>
Physically able to walk dogs, lift up to 50 pounds, scoop litter and generally care for pets when needed</li><li>
Local to Southeastern CT and able to work in our Norwich office M-F<br>

 Schedule &amp; Pay</b></h3><ul><li>
Monday to Friday | 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM (with 30-60 minute lunch)</li><li>
Up to 2 weekend days per month</li><li>
Opportunity to grow into other roles as the company grows</li><li>
$20-25/hr based on experience</li><li>
