This position is ideal for candidates with at least a year of litigation experience who are eager to develop their skills and play an integral role in a collaborative legal team.
Responsibilities:<ul><li>Assist with all phases of litigation, including motion drafting, discovery (including eDiscovery), depositions, pretrial hearings, and trial or trial preparation.</li><li>Conduct thorough legal research, prepare memoranda, and analyze substantive legal issues.</li><li>Collaborate with attorneys and clients on active litigation matters.</li><li>Take initiative and assume responsibility for assigned client matters.</li><li>Work effectively as part of a team in a fast-paced, supportive environment.</li></ul>
Qualifications:<ul><li>1-2 years of litigation experience, including hands-on involvement with motions, discovery, depositions, and hearings.</li><li>Strong academic credentials and excellent writing, research, and analytical abilities.</li><li>Interpersonal and communication skills necessary to thrive in a team setting.</li><li>Admission to the Ohio Bar, or eligibility to waive in, and good standing in all jurisdictions where admitted.</li></ul>
