Barnhart Crane & Rigging

<div>Description:
<ul><li>Assembles and installs supporting structures, rigging, hoist and pulling gear</li>
<li>Attaches load to rigging to provide support or prepare for moving using hand and power tools</li>
<li>Connects pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures with bolts, shackles and clamps</li>
<li>Cleans and dresses machine and surfaces of component parts</li>
<li>Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces</li>
<li>Dismantles, maintains and stores rigging equipment</li>
<li>Manipulates rigging lines and hoist to move or support materials, steel, concrete etc.</li>
<li>Selects gear, shackles and cables according to load size, facilities and work schedule</li>
<li>Signals or gives verbal directions to workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials</li>
<li>Tests rigging to ensure safety and reliability before engaging in hoisting or lifting</li>
<li>Supervisory Responsibilities: Ability to respectfully confront people when needed and lead through example</li>
<li>Must pass drug test, fit for duty test and background check</li>

<div>Essential Duties of this Opportunity: The Barnhart Branch Manager is our Local Leader, a peer to our Senior Leadership Team. As the Local Leader, you will be treated as a business owner, responsible for leading the branch team in sales, execution and financial results of Barnhart. Leadership and development of your team will be the key to your success. You will also collaborate with other branches in executing work in the region and the national footprint. Preferred Experience:
<ul><li>Leadership developing a Team and building a strong aligned Culture of Company Mission Statement and Core Values.</li><li>
Mechanically inclined and a proven track record of success in rigging, lifting, fabrication, maintenance or transportation execution.</li><li>
Financial skills in leading your Team to build a successful business plan and achieve success metrics.</li><li>
Project Management experience in construction and/or industrial industries.</li><li>
Computer Software and Management Reporting expertise in communicating metrics, processes and enhancements.</li></ul>
Education: Bachelor's degree or sufficient experience.
Experience: Previous Leadership experience preferred.
