<div><p>Full-time laboratory assistant position. Primary responsibility is to provide administrative and laboratory support to Lab Director and all laboratory staff. Handles accounts payable for the Laboratory using Munis software to process laboratory purchase requisitions and processes lab invoices. Places orders for laboratory supplies and equipment with vendors and follows up on existing orders. Takes responsibility for relaying cash receipts to Finance Department. As needed, provide support and assistance at laboratory front desk, greeting customers, receive and log in samples to laboratory database, tracking laboratory analysis, making copies, data entry, mailing and faxing reports to customers.</p>
<p>High school diploma or equivalent and three years of administrative or lab experience is required, or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Training and/or experience in office procedures, bookkeeping, business practices and secretarial skills preferred. Excellent oral and written communication skills and attention to detail are required. Perform other duties as assigned.</p>
