Our small CPA firm is growing, and we are looking to expand our team. We are interested in hiring a detail-oriented accountant to prepare tax returns and manage monthly bookkeeping.About the Role:<ul><li>Part-time, ~20 hours per week</li><li>Fully remote but must live in Alabama</li><li>Flexible hours</li><li>Work directly with a CPA and small business clients</li><li>We are 100% paperless and use QuickBooks and Proseries</li></ul>What You&rsquo;ll Do:<ul><li>Maintain client books in QuickBooks</li><li>Reconcile accounts monthly</li><li>Prepare payroll and adjusting entries</li><li>Prepare sales tax</li><li>Prepare clean financials for tax prep</li><li>Communicate with clients to clarify transactions</li><li>Prepare business and personal tax returns if degreed accountant.</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For:<ul><li>Degree in accounting or soon to graduate.
