Overview The barre3 Front Desk Sales Associate is an integral part of the barre3 studio experience. They are responsible for ensuring strong client relationships while maintaining an organized, clean and welcoming studio atmosphere. Their goal is to host clients, speak to the barre3 brand, assist in marketing campaigns and sell memberships, class packages and retail. They must be trained and understand Mariana Tek (MT) well. They are the face of the studio and are expected to maintain professionalism, poise, grace, warmth, kindness, and be self motivated to make things happen. They have a passion for fitness while embracing whole-body health and community connection as equally important pillars of barre3. They are warm, compassionate and value diversity.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet customers warmly as they arrive, establishing a positive first impression</li><li>Know and speak to the offerings available for clients at the studio</li><li>Conduct upselling by recommending additional products or services that meet customer needs</li><li>Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system accurately for transactions including cash handling and credit card processing</li><li>Ensure the sales floor remains clean, organized, and fully stocked throughout your shift</li><li>Handle phone inquiries professionally, providing information and directing calls appropriately</li><li>Demonstrate excellent communication skills to effectively engage with clients</li><li>Provide unreasonable hospitality</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Previous retail sales or cashiering experience preferred; supervisory experience is a plus</li><li>Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures</li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and confidently</li><li>Ability to perform basic math for transactions and retail math calculations</li><li>Experience with merchandising, stocking, and product demos in a retail environment is advantageous</li><li>Excellent phone etiquette and professional demeanor at all times</li><li>Demonstrated ability to upsell products while maintaining genuine customer relationships</li><li>Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift moderate loads as needed</li></ul>This energetic role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to grow their retail expertise while delivering outstanding service.
