Fine dining, extensive cocktail, whiskey and wine knowledge required.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit</li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS</li><li>Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and increase sales</li><li>Ensure proper food handling, sanitation, and safety standards are maintained at all times</li><li>Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery</li><li>Manage guest relations by addressing questions, concerns, or special requests promptly</li><li>Assist with bussing tables, resetting dining areas, and supporting host/hostess duties as needed</li><li>Use OpenTable or similar reservation systems to manage bookings efficiently</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and basic math calculations</li><li>Maintain cleanliness of dining areas and adhere to sanitation protocols in line with food safety regulations</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, especially fine dining or nightclub settings</li><li>Strong knowledge of POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms</li><li>Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor</li><li>Ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment while multitasking seamlessly</li><li>Experience in upselling menu items and enhancing guest satisfaction through sales techniques</li><li>Knowledge of food handling, sanitation standards, and food safety practices</li><li>Background in culinary arts or kitchen experience is a plus for better understanding of menu offerings</li><li>Effective communication skills for guest interactions and teamwork within the restaurant staff</li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling and billing accuracy</li><li>Familiarity with reservation management tools like OpenTable is advantageous</li></ul>Join us if you&rsquo;re passionate about delivering exceptional service in a vibrant setting!
