Barry&rsquo;s is the Best Workout in the WorldTM&reg;. Founded in West Hollywood in 1998, it&rsquo;s the original strength and cardio interval fitness experience that provides an immersive, high-intensity, one-hour workout that&rsquo;s as effective as it is fun. Our fitness classes alternate between working out with weights and running on a treadmill. Each day focuses on a different muscle group in order to achieve real results and to prevent injuries. Our program is designed to tone muscle and maximize fat loss, while spiking the metabolism for up to 48 hours following the class.

About the role 
The Apparel Graphic Designer is responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and executing graphic elements for the Barry&rsquo;s Retail division. This role combines artistic vision with industry trends to create designs that resonate with target audiences and align with Barry&rsquo;s brand identity. This role requires a high level of passion and creativity, along with the versatility and focus to contribute to graphic direction and strategy through the product creation process. The ideal candidate will have experience with contemporary athleisure and performance apparel, well-rounded knowledge of graphic techniques, and is an Adobe CC expert. The Apparel Graphic Designer works to elevate the Barry&rsquo;s Brand and co-branded product with a focus on the art and design of graphics to create a compelling consumer experience for our retail sold in studios and online. 
What you'll do<ul><li>
Conceptualize and design original, on-brand graphics for retail collections, including prints, patterns, logos, and typography</li><li>
Create innovative graphic applications for placement on retail apparel and accessories, including screen print graphics, embroidery, and repeat designs</li><li>
Collaborate with product development, merchandising, and brand teams to align designs with seasonal goals, market trends, and Barry&rsquo;s brand identity</li><li>
Research trends, consumer preferences, and competitor offerings to inspire new designs and elevate existing concepts</li><li>
Create seasonal vision boards that includes color direction, as well as trim, textures and typography influences that communicate the ethos of Barry's</li><li>
Prepare detailed technical packs with accurate scaling, placement, and color specifications for production, as well as CAD drawings as needed</li><li>
Ensure brand consistency by working closely with the brand and marketing teams to maintain a cohesive visual language across both digital and retail touchpoints</li><li>
Create and maintain line sheets, look books, merchandising guides, and other retail tools in alignment with Barry&rsquo;s brand guidelines and marketing strategies</li><li>
Support and ensure any design deadlines are met according to the development calendar.</li><li>
Perform other related duties as needed</li></ul>
Qualifications<ul><li>
4+ years industry experience working as a Graphic Designer within a fitness apparel or print company, preferably in Men's and Women's Athleisure or Active Apparel and Accessories.</li><li>
MA, BA, BFA, or BS in Graphic Design</li><li>
Skilled in hand illustration, as well as in Adobe CC: Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign</li><li>
Excel in designing graphic layouts, repeat patterns, and a great sense of typography</li><li>
Well-rounded knowledge of various printing techniques and how to communicate these directions to domestic and overseas vendors.</li><li>
Expert in artwork file preparation for print, design process, and tech packs</li><li>
Knowledge of Digital Photography and how to import/manipulate digital media</li><li>
Ability to present creative fashion forward ideas aligned with Barry&rsquo;s vision</li><li>
Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize projects appropriately, manage a very fast pace graphic design workload - multi-task and organizational qualities are a must!</li><li>
Self starter, capable of problem-solving and suggesting solutions</li><li>
Ability to work well under pressure and adapt to changing priorities</li></ul> 

The pay range for this role is: 
80,000 - 85,000 USD per year(New York)</div>
