Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities: 
To successfully perform this role, an individual must be able to carry out each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements outlined below represent the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary for the position. <ul>
<li>Prepare detailed estimates for service and project work, including labor, materials, equipment, subcontractors, risk/contingency, and stated assumptions/exclusions.</li>
<li>Develop and price change/addition scopes, accounting for site requirements and constraints; support pricing decisions that protect margin while meeting customer needs.</li>
<li>Support strong pre-planning and constructability review to ensure alignment with field staff and customer expectations before release and throughout execution.</li>
<li>Assist the Service Manager, Project Manager, and field teams from pursuit through closeout; coordinate with field crews, vendors, and customers to ensure smooth handoffs.</li>
<li>Translate customer and project needs into practical, cost-effective solutions; recommend alternatives that balance schedule, budget, quality, and operational impact.</li>
<li>Develop schedules, submittals, material lists, ordering/verification documentation, and as-built drawings as needed to support execution and closeout.</li>
<li>Prepare and process POs, submittals, quote back-up, and other required documentation accurately and on time.</li>
<li>Partner with the Service Manager and Project Manager to evaluate work approaches and identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and added customer value.</li>
<li>Maintain a prioritized task list, communicate capacity and constraints, and manage deliverables to meet bid due dates and project timelines.</li>
<li>Visit jobsites to verify existing conditions, access, routing, safety constraints, and coordination requirements to improve estimate accuracy and reduce execution risk.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
</ul>
Required Education &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>Associate's degree in Mechanical/HVAC or related field of study is required.</li>
<li>Must possess working knowledge of HVAC systems and their components.</li>
<li>Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of balancing multiple priorities while delivering work on schedule.</li>
<li>One year or more of professional experience in commercial/mechanical estimating is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience with BIM, AutoCAD, Adobe Acrobat, Microsoft Office Suite, Blue Beam, and Revit is preferred.</li>
</ul>
Other Details:
<ul>
<li>This role will report regularly in-person to our Eau Claire, WI office.</li>
<li>Must possess and maintain a valid state driver&rsquo;s license and remain in good standing in accordance with company driving policy.</li>
<li>Must be willing and able to travel to local/regional project sites and client locations; may include longer days and weekend work as needed for project support.</li>
