KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

<li>Support Procurement in the distribution of bidding documents and tracking of bidders.</li>

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

POSITION SUMMARY 


Barton Malow is actively seeking an experienced and highly motivated MEP Superintendent to lead field operations for the construction of a mission-critical data center near Philadelphia, PA. This position requires expert-level knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems and a proven track record in supervising complex MEP installations on fast-paced, technically demanding projects. The MEP Superintendent will play a key role in the field, ensuring on-time, high-quality delivery of all MEP scopes while maintaining the highest standards of safety and coordination. Prior data center or mission-critical experience is strongly preferred. 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

<ul>
<li>Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of MEP subcontractors and trades on-site to ensure productivity, quality, and safety standards are met.</li>
<li>Monitor installation of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, ensuring work is performed in accordance with project documents, specifications, and codes.</li>
<li>Enforce compliance with all safety policies and OSHA regulations; serve as a safety leader on-site for all MEP-related work.</li>
<li>Participate in and lead MEP coordination meetings with project management, subcontractors, vendors, and design professionals.</li>
<li>Review and manage field-level MEP documentation including installation drawings, RFIs, submittals, and equipment logs.</li>
<li>Assist with the implementation and oversight of BIM coordination, ensuring constructability and conflict resolution in the field.</li>
<li>Collaborate closely with the MEP Project Manager and general superintendent to align field execution with project milestones and schedule.</li>
<li>Drive short-interval planning and look-ahead schedules specific to MEP trades.</li>
<li>Ensure proper installation, inspection, testing, and commissioning of all MEP systems, including HVAC, UPS, generators, power distribution, and critical cooling systems.</li>
<li>Maintain and submit daily reports documenting manpower, progress, and field issues; contribute to weekly project reporting.</li>
<li>Support QA/QC inspections, punch list management, and final system turnover processes.</li></ul> 

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
<ul>
<li>7+ years of hands-on experience in MEP field supervision on mission-critical/data center projects.</li>
<li>In-depth knowledge of HVAC, electrical power systems, plumbing, and related infrastructure in high-reliability environments.</li>
<li>Strong leadership and field coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple trades and maintain momentum in a dynamic construction setting.</li>
<li>Proficiency in interpreting construction documents, installation drawings, and technical specifications.</li>
<li>Familiarity with BIM processes and construction technologies (e.g., Bluebeam, BIM360, Procore).</li>
<li>OSHA 30 certification required or ability to obtain.</li>
<li>Ability to maintain effective relationships with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams under tight schedules and high expectations.</li></ul></div>

POSITION SUMMARY

Barton Malow is seeking an Asisstant Superintendent for a mission-critical project near Philadelphia, PA. This individual must be open to travel and commit to working on the project site at least five days a week. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for assisting with managing the successful completion of assigned projects in collaboration with the on-site project staff. The Assistant Superintendent will also assist with job site safety, quality control, and project scheduling. This role involves evaluating project performance, assessing site conditions, ensuring compliance with scopes, and effectively managing trade partners to achieve project goals. 

KEY JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Assists in developing work scopes and front-end documents for bidding to ensure clarity, participates in the bid process, including post-bid interviews and addressing bidder questions, and identifies potential contractors based on project requirements.</li>
<li>Enforces corporate safety policies on the job site, including pre-task safety planning, and is responsible for safety compliance in the field.</li>
<li>Organizes and manages the day-to-day on-site labor force, supervising and coordinating contractor work to minimize interference.</li>
<li>Supports the Project Manager in budget management and forecasting by controlling costs and monitoring potential changes from contractors.</li>
<li>Develops site logistics plans to maximize productivity and minimize impacts on building occupants.</li>
<li>Establishes and implements the project baseline schedule, incorporating input from subcontractors and considering factors that could impact timing.</li>
<li>Leads pull planning efforts and provides progress reports with a six-week look-ahead schedule to the Project Managers and field staff.</li>
<li>Communicate daily issues, events, performance, and progress to the Project Managers while building effective relationships with clients, team members, subcontractors, and relevant authorities.</li></ul> 
 
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
<ul>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in construction management or engineering.</li>
<li>3+ years of documented Mission Critical &ndash; Data Center experience from inception to completion.</li>
<li>Demonstrates excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a strong understanding of applicable contracts and legal provisions.</li>
<li>Ability to manage and embrace change, adapting to new processes and perspectives on traditional challenges.</li>
<li>Capable of multitasking and handling competing priorities between project delivery and the non-critical review of incomplete assignments while maintaining excellent customer relationships.</li>
<li>Possesses a strong sense of urgency and the ability to quickly assess and resolve complex issues effectively and fairly.</li></ul></div>
