As the Rebar Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the rebar office operations within the organization. Your role will involve managing a team of professionals, coordinating projects, ensuring quality standards are met, and optimizing processes to enhance efficiency and productivity. This role is in conjunction with his/her day-to-day operations as a project manager as well. You will play a crucial role in driving the department's success and contributing to the overall objectives of the company.</div><div></div><p><b><br>
Key Responsibilities:</b></p><ul><li>
Team Leadership:</li></ul><ul><li>Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of rebar professionals.</li><li>Provide guidance, support, and coaching to team members to enhance their skills and performance.</li><li>Review, negotiation, and execution of written contract and purchase orders.</li><li>Foster a positive work environment that encourages collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.</li><li>
Project Management:</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee the planning, execution, and completion of rebar projects.</li><li>Coordinate with project managers, detailers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and according to specifications.</li><li>Assure that all change orders are identified, captured, and executed</li><li>Assure that all RFI&rsquo;s are properly issued, followed up upon, filed, distributed, documented, and priced if applicable.</li><li>Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.</li><li>
Quality Assurance:</li></ul><ul><li>Conduct regular inspections and audits to assess workmanship, materials, and compliance with specifications.</li><li>Implement corrective actions as needed to address quality issues and improve performance.</li><li>
Resource Management:</li></ul><ul><li>Allocate resources effectively to support project requirements and meet production targets.</li><li>Optimize resource utilization to minimize waste and maximize profitability.</li><li>
Communication and Stakeholder Engagement:</li></ul><ul><li>Communicate effectively with internal teams, clients, contractors, and suppliers to coordinate project requirements and resolve issues proactively.</li><li>Collaborate with management to address and resolve all customer concerns and complaints.</li><li>Build strong relationships with key stakeholders to understand their needs, address concerns, and maintain customer satisfaction.</li><li>Provide regular updates, reports, and presentations to senior management on departmental performance, projects status, and strategic initiatives.</li><li>
Sales and Business Development:</li></ul><ul><li>Working closely with Director of Sales with Identify new business opportunities, market trends, and customer needs to develop targeted sales initiatives.</li><li>Cultivate and maintain relationships with key customers, contractors, architects, and other stakeholders to drive sales and enhance customer satisfaction.</li></ul><p></p><p><b><br>
Qualifications:</b></p><ul><li>Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, or related field. (Preferred)</li><li>Proven experience in rebar operations, with a minimum of 5 years in a managerial role.</li><li>In-depth knowledge of rebar techniques, materials, equipment, and industry best practices.</li><li>Strong leadership abilities with excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.</li><li>Proficient in project management tools and software applications.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects simultaneously.</li><li>Commitment to quality, safety, and continuous improvement.</li><li>Knowledge of aSa Studio software (Preferred)</li><li>Bilingual fluency in Spanish/English is a plus.</li></ul><p></p><p><br>
