The Process Safety Specialist/Expert will serve as the primary point of contact and advisor for defined specific topics in the field of plant safety to operational units at locations in EMEA.</p><p></p><p><b><br>

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Support and validate Process Safety Reviews for existing plants and investment projects (including plant modifications) throughout all project phases&mdash;from planning to implementation&mdash;for facilities across T&uuml;rkiye and EMEA.</li><li>
Perform Process Safety Validation for plants, applying methodologies such as HAZOP (Hazard and Operability Study) to ensure comprehensive risk identification and mitigation.</li><li>
Support sites in managing change processes and ensuring compliance with process safety regulations, including SEVESO II requirements.</li><li>
Conduct root-cause investigations for process safety-related incidents and share lessons learned to strengthen safety culture.</li><li>
Prepare and participate in audits as required; coordinate and maintain documentation for annual plant management reviews.</li><li>
Contribution to further development of process safety at BASF: development, revision, and delivery/moderation of trainings on process safety topics in EMEA.</li></ul></div></div><div><div><h2 class="jobSectionHeader"><b>
WHAT YOU BRING
</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>Degree in chemistry, process engineering, chemical engineering, or a comparable field.</li><li>
At least 5 years of experience in the chemical industry in research, development, production, or a production-related environment.</li><li>
Solid understanding of process safety regulations; experience with incident investigation methods.</li><li>
Basic knowledge of explosion protection</li><li>
Strong communication skills, ability to collaborate effectively in hybrid and international teams, and openness to feedback.</li><li>
Service-oriented mindset with a pragmatic approach to challenges and adaptability to change.</li><li>

The Digitalization Specialist roles entail supporting Sales with retaining and expanding business with all existing customers and support business growth plan by professional Refinity and Digitalization initiatives. Responsibilities</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Ensure color and reporting software &amp; hardware functions are being promoted and implemented effectively, utilizing all benefits our ECR solutions can bring to the customer (Inventory, Reporting, Costing, Efficiency, etc)</li><li>
Support the go to market approach of Region Export EMEA by giving input to the Technical Manager, Marketing and Sales on pricing, communication and selling arguments.</li><li>
Monitor and ensure, all digitalization obligations with importers, partners and customers in Region Export EMEA (contractual or non-contractual) are fulfilled professionally</li><li>
Review and develop digitalization skillset of Distributors and Customers in collaboration with Technical Management and Business Development Managers.</li><li>
Drive concept, development and implementation of new tools in the Export Region.</li><li>
Monitor competitors&rsquo; digitalization tools implemented in the Region and relay competitors activity to Technical Management and Sales, Marketing Management.</li></ul></div></div></div>
