Basic Software Systems

<div>Basic Software Systems is seeking qualified candidates to train and support our clients on our Dealership Management System software. Our packaged software includes Inventory Control, Point of Sale Invoicing, Full Accounting (A/R, A/P, General Ledger), Payroll, Service, and Rental applications. The Support Services Specialist identifies customers' business needs, advises, and assists the customer in implementing solutions. Specialists train/assist customers with the ongoing use of customized software systems. They will handle incoming support calls, troubleshoot reported issues, and provide assistance/ training via the phone and at on locations (at certain levels).

RESPONSIBILITIES 
 
SUPPORT RESPONSIBILITIES<ul><li>
Provide technical support and training to customers by researching and answering questions and troubleshooting problems.</li><li>
Conduct compliance checks to ensure dealers have adequate setup and resources to run applications appropriately.</li><li>
Maintain knowledge of Basic Software Systems software applications and all third-party applications that integrate.</li><li>
Maintain knowledge of software applications used for documentation and communication within the company</li><li>
Maintain knowledge of technical requirements for applications</li><li>
Maintain accurate documentation of support cases</li><li>
Maintain documentation for procedures and support cases</li><li>
Maintain outstanding support cases and follow-up regularly until resolved</li><li>
Effectively communicate customer errors and concerns via tolls provided.</li><li>
Consult with the customer regarding best practices in using the software effectively in various tasks.</li><li>
Implement software applications as applicable according to the needs of our customers</li><li>
Monitor, plan, and execute various tasks surrounding our new and existing customer implementation projects</li></ul>
