<div>POSITION SUMMARY:
The Human Resources Specialist will lead onsite HR initiatives supporting leadership and Outfitters in the store in the following areas: staffing, training, engagement, orientation and onboarding, and administrative excellence. Additionally, this role will assist the General Manager with administrative functions as needed.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:<ul><li>
Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensures a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers.</li><li>
Acts as a brand ambassador representing the culture of the organization to drive retention and positive working environment within each department.</li><li>
Helps facilitate the hiring/staffing process for hourly outfitters.</li><li>
Ensures training completion/monitoring for location outfitters.</li><li>
Processes and audits all employment actions in HRIS/Payroll/Scheduling system for hourly outfitters.</li><li>
Maintains &ldquo;confidentiality&rdquo; with all sensitive information.</li><li>
Assists with planning and implementing associate recognition and other activities in collaboration with the General Manager.</li><li>
Assists in communicating all HR related polices, practices and direction from the company.</li><li>
Compliance maintenance and record keeping (legal posters, notices etc.).</li><li>
Provides guidance and support for performance management, annual review process and succession planning for hourly outfitters.
</li><li>Responds and resolves first level outfitter issues. Partners with Sr. HRM or Employee Relations Department for guidance on all outfitter issues requiring escalation as appropriate.</li><li>
Performs administrative duties as needed.</li><li>
Processes invoices, manages expenses within Coupa.</li><li>
Orders and monitors store supplies.</li><li>
Coordinates travel for store Outfitters and leaders.</li><li>
ALL OTHER DUTIES AS ASSIGNED</li></ul>
EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>
Minimum Degree Required: High School Diploma or Equivalent</li><li>
Preferred Degree: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource</li><li>
Years of experience: 1-3 years human resources and administrative/office experience</li></ul>
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITY:
<ul><li>Ability to calculate figures, interpret and analyze data from reports.</li><li>
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships.</li><li>
Strong verbal and written communication skills.</li><li>
Proficiency in Windows, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint software.</li></ul>
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
May require infrequent travel to help support other stores, new store events, etc.</li></ul>
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:<ul><li>
Regular computer work, walking, sitting, and standing.</li></ul>
INDEPENDENT JUDGEMENT:<ul><li>
Performs tasks and duties under general supervision, using established procedures and innovation. Chooses from limited alternatives to resolve problems. Occasional independent judgment is required to complete work assignments. Often makes recommendations to work procedures, policies, and practices.</li></ul>
Starting Pay Rate: $19.00 - $21.75
