 to join the Health Research &amp; Analytics team. This position may be located in

 Battelle is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this role is $75,000-$90,000 per year, in addition to our comprehensive benefits package. A candidate&rsquo;s salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to education, relevant work experience, skills, and certifications. Salary ranges may vary based on geographic location and market conditions.
 
 
 
 Responsibilities
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Solving technical problems using computer science and systems development approaches in areas that require mathematical and/or statistical methods and knowledge
 </li>
 <li>
 Communicating on a regular basis with project leaders, team members and client stakeholders including mathematicians, computer scientists, statisticians, epidemiologist, and engineers
 </li>
 <li>
 Proactively managing expectations and meeting deadlines in a fast-moving, agile software development environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Conducting and participating in assigned projects with minimum supervision and within time and budget constraints
 </li>
 <li>
 Continued job performance improvement through on-the-job training and outside study
 </li>
 <li>
 Thrive in a multi-disciplinary environment solving problems in a variety of application areas
 </li>

 Minimal domestic travel

 Key Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Must be US Person by definition of US Export Laws. Candidates must be able to obtain Security/CDC clearances as required by clients
 </li>
 <li>
 Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Science, or Computer Engineering
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated competency in object-oriented programming with Java/JavaEE or C#
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience with web development technologies such as HTML, XML, JSON, CSS, and JavaScript and accompanying frameworks and libraries (e.g., jQuery, Bootstrap, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated experience with SQL and relational database engines such as SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated competency with development tools (e.g., NetBeans, Eclipse, Visual Studio Code, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Excellent written and oral communication skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Demonstrated ability to meet competing deadlines successfully
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience with developing, testing, documenting, and maintaining computer code for deadline driven projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with user interface and user experience design and implementation
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Python, SAS, R, C, C++
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience working in an Agile Development environment
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with additional JavaScript frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience participating in requirements gathering process, providing user documentation, and writing clear, concise comments within programs
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience with Linux-based Operating Systems (e.g., Ubuntu, RedHat, CentOS, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience using version control software (e.g., Git, Subversion, Mercurial, etc.)
 </li>
 <li>
 Previous experience with Battelle or a Contract Research Organization
