Battle Creek Memory Care, located in Salem, Oregon is seeking a dedicated and passionate Med Tech to provide high-quality care to the residents in our community.

Responsibilities of the Med Tech
<ul><li>Administers and documents medications/treatments as directed by residents&rsquo; physician.
</li><li>Documents and reports changes and observations of resident&rsquo;s needs and preferences.
</li><li>Communicates with the health services team, physicians, other healthcare providers, and responsible parties as needed.
</li><li>Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
</li><li>Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
</li><li>Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
</li><li>Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
</li><li>Completes state required training upon hire and annually.</li>
</ul>
Required Experience
<ul><li>Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
</li><li>Tuberculosis (TB) certificate as required by the State.
</li><li>First Aid and CPR Certifications as required by the State.
</li><li>A minimum of one (1) year prior caregiving experience is preferred.
</li><li>Be at least 18 years of age.
</li><li>Basic computer skills.
</li><li>Must be able to speak, read, and write in the English language.

Responsibilities of the Care Partner
<ul><li>Provide assistance with activities of daily living in a manner that supports our person-centered care philosophy.
</li><li>Provides personal care services as outlined in the individual services plans such as assistance with bathing, grooming, dressing, ambulation, positioning, assist to meals, feeding, change bed linens, laundry, etc.
</li><li>Assist in daily requirements and tasks as requested.
</li><li>Ensure residents are provided privacy, respect, and dignity.
</li><li>Follows standard precautions and infection control procedures.
</li><li>Completes state required training upon hire and annually.
</li></ul>Required Experience
<ul>
<li>Possess, at a minimum, a high school diploma or equivalent.
</li><li>Be at least 18 years of age.</li>
<li>Experience with Memory Care is a plus but not required.</li>
<li>Basic computer skills.
