Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)Position Summary:We are seeking a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to provide high-quality, evidence-based Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to individuals with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disabilities across home, school, and community settings. The BCBA will conduct behavioral assessments, develop and oversee individualized treatment plans, and use data-driven decision-making to monitor client progress and improve outcomes.This role includes supervising and mentoring Registered Behavior Technicians (RBTs), collaborating with caregivers and interdisciplinary teams, and providing ongoing staff training. The BCBA is responsible for maintaining accurate clinical documentation while ensuring compliance with BACB ethical standards, HIPAA, state regulations, and payer requirements.Key Responsibilities:Assessment &amp; Support Planning&middot; Conduct functional behavior and skills assessments across home, school, and community environments&middot; Develop, implement, and adapt individualized behavior support plans and skill-building programs&middot; Apply evidence-based ABA strategies to promote positive behavior, daily living skills, and meaningful participation in everyday routines.Data Analysis &amp; Outcomes<ul><li>Analyze behavioral data to monitor client progress and treatment effectiveness</li><li>Adjust treatment plans based on data-driven decision-making</li><li>Ensure generalization and maintenance of learned skills across environments</li></ul>Supervision &amp; Staff Development<ul><li>Provide supervision, training, and mentorship to RBTs and behavior technicians</li><li>Ensure compliance with BACB supervision requirements</li><li>Review session documentation and provide performance feedback</li></ul>Caregiver &amp; Team Collaboration<ul><li>Train caregivers and families in implementing behavioral strategies</li><li>Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (educators, therapists, medical providers)</li><li>Participate in case reviews, team meetings, and treatment planning</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Documentation<ul><li>Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation (session notes, reports, treatment updates)</li><li>Ensure compliance with BACB, HIPAA, state regulations, and payer requirements</li><li>Support quality assurance initiatives and internal audits</li></ul>Required QualificationsEducation<ul><li>Master&rsquo;s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field</li></ul>Certification &amp; Licensure<ul><li>Active Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (BACB)</li><li>Current or eligible for state licensure in Maryland (or DC/VA as applicable)</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>2&ndash;4+ years of experience providing ABA therapy to individuals with ASD or developmental disabilities</li><li>Experience supervising RBTs or behavior technicians preferred</li></ul>Core Skills &amp; Competencies<ul><li>Strong knowledge of ABA principles and behavioral interventions</li><li>Expertise in data collection, analysis, and treatment modification</li><li>Leadership, coaching, and team development skills</li><li>Excellent written and verbal communication</li><li>Strong organizational and time management abilities</li><li>Experience with electronic data systems (e.g., CentralReach, Catalyst, Rethink) preferred</li></ul>Work Environment<ul><li>Service delivery across home, school, and community settings</li><li>Travel required within Montgomery, Prince George&rsquo;s, and Charles Counties</li></ul>Physical Requirements<ul><li>Ability to sit, stand, bend, and actively participate in sessions</li><li>Ability to lift up to 30lbs as needed</li><li>Ability to respond safely and effectively during behavioral interventions</li></ul>Compliance &amp; Professional Standards<ul><li>Maintain active BCBA certification and continuing education</li><li>Adhere to HIPAA and confidentiality standards</li><li>Follow all organizational and state clinical policies</li><li>Uphold ethical standards aligned with the BACB Code of Ethics</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Benefits<ul><li>Competitive salary (based on experience, credentials, and location)</li><li>Continuing education and professional development support</li><li>Supervision and career advancement opportunities</li></ul>Equal Opportunity Employer StatementWe are an equal opportunity employer committed to diversity and inclusion.
