You’ll be joining our Data & Decision Sciences (DDS) team at Bauer Media Audio, where we use data to power decisions across nine European markets. We’re a collaborative, cross-functional team working across commercial revenue, digital audiences, and consumer competitions, turning complex data into insights that shape how millions of people engage with our brands every day.
 
Working closely with Data Engineers, Data Scientists, Product Managers and business stakeholders, we combine central expertise with local market knowledge to deliver real impact.

As an Analytics Engineer, you’ll play a key role in transforming raw data into trusted, business-ready insights. You’ll help build the data models and semantic layers that underpin reporting and analytics across Bauer Media Audio, enabling teams to make smarter, faster decisions.
 
This is an exciting opportunity to help modernise our data platform, working with emerging technologies and shaping how data is structured, defined, and consumed across the business.
 
Your role
 
You’ll design and build scalable data models and pipelines that translate complex data into meaningful insights for the business.
 
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
Design and develop dimensional data models and marts using dbt and Kimball principles
 Build and maintain transformation pipelines from raw data to business-ready datasets
 Define and evolve semantic layers to ensure consistent metrics and reporting across tools like Looker, Power BI and Tableau
 Collaborate with Data Engineers to shape upstream data and improve data pipelines
 Implement data quality checks and maintain reliable, trusted datasets
 Support the migration and modernisation of legacy data platforms to Snowflake
 Maintain documentation including data dictionaries and semantic definitions
 Contribute to agile workflows, code reviews, and cross-functional collaboration
 Get involved with setting up Airflow DAGs or write Terraform to setup infrastructure.
 
The skills you will bring
 
Must-have: 
Strong SQL skills and experience with modern cloud data warehouses (e.g. Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery)
 Hands-on experience with dbt for data transformation and modelling
 Solid understanding of dimensional modelling (Kimball methodology)
 Experience working with BI tools such as Looker or Power BI
 Comfort working in agile teams using tools like Jira and GitHub
 Strong communication skills with the ability to translate data into business concepts
 
Nice-to-have: 
Experience with Snowflake or modern cloud data platforms
 Exposure to Airflow, Terraform, or CI/CD practices
 Experience with data quality tools such as Great Expectations
 Familiarity with Tableau or multi-BI environments
 Background in media, digital, or subscription-based businesses
 Experience using Python for data and analytics engineering tasks

Your role
 You will design, build and operate cloud-based broadcast platforms, combining hands-on engineering with architectural thinking to deliver reliable and scalable audio services.
 
Design and build cloud-based platforms for live audio broadcasting using AWS
 
Create resilient, highly available systems that support 24/7 operations
 
Develop pipelines for audio ingestion, processing and distribution
 
Lead hands-on delivery using infrastructure-as-code and automation
 
Support the migration of broadcast systems from on-premise to cloud
 
Collaborate with engineering, product and business teams across multiple markets
 
Integrate third-party tools and vendor solutions into the platform
 
Ensure platforms are scalable, reusable and cost-efficient
 
Contribute to documentation, standards and best practice
 
Continuously improve platform performance, resilience and user experience
 
The skills you will bring
 
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred)
 
Background in broadcast engineering, live audio or similar environments
 
Experience designing or supporting cloud migrations
 
Understanding of distributed systems and platform scalability
 
Familiarity with containerisation and modern DevOps practices
 
Ability to work collaboratively with both technical and non-technical colleagues
 
Confidence working in a hands-on, delivery-focused role
 
Experience in media or broadcasting (helpful but not essential)
 
Exposure to international or multi-region environments (helpful)
 
Working Pattern & Location
 This role is based in London or Manchester with hybrid working. Occasional travel across Europe may be required.

We’re looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Audio Sales Coordinator to join our Agency Sales Team in London.

In this role, you’ll manage audio airtime briefs across a portfolio of key London media agencies, ensuring Bauer continues to uphold its reputation for unrivalled customer service. You’ll play a key role in supporting the sales team by efficiently turning around planning requests, using insight and creativity to deliver the best sales solutions and drive revenue.
 
This role will ideally suit someone with a passion for sales wanting to take that first step and grow within our sales department.
 
What you’ll be doing
 
<ul>
<li>Plan, book, and manage administration of all radio airtime campaigns, ensuring alignment with agency deals and inventory targets</li>
<li>Deliver exceptional customer service through efficient and accurate campaign turnaround</li>
<li>Monitor national agency and client spend to identify revenue opportunities</li>
<li>Support Account Managers/Directors with reporting and Post Campaign Analysis presentations</li>
<li>Maximise agency expenditure by challenging briefs and delivering insightful, creative responses</li>
<li>Follow up proposals with strong negotiation skills to maximise opportunities for both agency and Bauer</li>
<li>Drive key focus areas and sales initiatives to exceed revenue targets</li>
<li>Provide agencies with competitor reports, programming updates, RAJAR figures, and ad-hoc requests</li>
<li>Collaborate with other agency hub groups when needed</li>
</ul>
What you’ll bring

<li>Passion and enthusiasm for media sales and Bauer’s brands</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a confident telephone manner</li>
