Legal Support Courier Martinez, CABay Area File is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Court Runner / Legal Support Courier to assist with physical filings and document handling for law firms at the Contra Costa Courthouses and surrounding locations.This position is ideal for someone who is organized, professional, comfortable driving locally, and able to handle time-sensitive legal documents accurately and efficiently.About Us Bay Area File is a trusted legal support company with more than 15 years of experience serving law firms throughout California. We assist attorneys with court filings, courtesy copies, document retrievals, and legal support services.Position Responsibilities<ul><li>Physically deliver and file legal documents at local Courthouses</li><li>Pick up and return file-stamped copies</li><li>Handle time-sensitive legal filings accurately</li><li>Scan and upload filed documents to internal systems</li><li>Coordinate with office staff regarding filing status updates</li><li>Maintain professionalism while interacting with court staff and attorneys</li><li>Assist with occasional document pickups and deliveries throughout the Bay Area</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>Reliable vehicle and valid California driver&rsquo;s license</li><li>Strong attention to detail</li><li>Clean Criminal and Driving Record</li><li>Dependable and punctual</li><li>Comfortable handling legal paperwork and deadlines</li><li>Computer skills &amp; experience- must be able to print, scan and email in a fast pace environment without errors</li><li>Professional communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and manage routes efficiently</li></ul>Preferred Qualifications<ul><li>Prior legal support, courier, or court filing experience- can train the right motivated person</li><li>Familiarity with legal documents or filings</li><li>Experience working in fast-paced administrative environments</li></ul>Compensation<ul><li>Hourly pay based on experience</li><li>Mileage reimbursement (if applicable)</li><li>Opportunity for growth within the company</li></ul>Location<ul><li>Based out of our Martinez office</li><li>Daily travel to local Courthouses</li></ul>To Apply 1.)
