</ul>Key Responsibilities

The Clinical Education Coordinator:
<ul>
<li>Provides hands-on clinical education, coaching, and support to nurses at the point of care
</li>
<li>Supports onboarding, competency development, and professional growth of nursing staff
</li>
<li>Develops and delivers evidence-based education to support safe, high-quality patient care
</li>
<li>Partners with nursing leaders to identify learning needs and support practice improvement initiatives
</li>
<li>Serves as a clinical resource, mentor, and professional development partner for nurses
</li>
<li>Supports implementation of new clinical initiatives, workflows, and evidence-based practice changes
</li>
<li>Promotes nursing excellence, lifelong learning, and a safe, collaborative practice environment
</li>
</ul>Required Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse (RN) license
</li>
<li>Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required
</li>
<li>Minimum of 3 years of clinical nursing experience
</li>
<li>Experience teaching, precepting, mentoring, or educating nursing staff or students
</li>

Compensation

Clinical Education Coordinator RN – Acute Care Nursing

Summary

Clinical Education Coordinator (Unit/Specialty based) enhances practice through evidence-based education, teaching, mentoring and hands-on support. Reporting to the Director Clinical Education. The coordinator works evenings, nights, and weekend schedules with limited time on day shift to meet evolving workforce and healthcare system needs, serving as a strategic partner in advancing nursing care delivery.

Responsibilities:

<li>Provides direct, hands-on support at the point of care</li>
<li>Ensures educational content is enculturated in practice</li>
<li>Tailor educational approaches to meet the needs of the diverse populations served across the health system.</li>
<li>Provides support for new staff</li>
<li>Promote and maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive work environment through education and role modeling.</li>
<li>Assist with rollout of new initiatives</li>
<li>Maintain current clinical and educational competencies relevant to the role and evolving practice standards.</li>
<li>Lead and support change initiatives, serving as a proactive change agent within the organization.</li>
<li>Manage multiple responsibilities with flexibility and adaptability in dynamic healthcare settings.</li>
<li>Serve as a role model for professional development and champion the concept of lifelong learning.</li>
</ul>
SCHEDULE:
<ul>
<li>Hours are 8pm-8:30am</li>
<li>36 hours per week</li>
<li>May require travel</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS (required):
<ul>
<li>BSN required</li>
<li>RN Massachusetts (required)</li>
<li> 3 years of clinical experience</li>
<li>Experience teaching/precepting individuals or groups of students or staff; experience as a charge nurse.</li>
</ul>
QUALIFICATIONS (preferred):
<ul>
<li>Master&rsquo;s Degree preferred</li>
<li>Experience with project management, data analytics, professional development coordination</li>
<li>Certification in specialty area preferred</li>
