Summary:</b> The advocate is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to ensure quality case management, mentoring, and advocacy services are provided to the service population, especially in crisis situations, while maintaining compliance with established program, state, and federal standards.</p><p><b><br>
Critical Action Items &amp; Measurable Deliverables:</b><br>
1. Maintain compliance with all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.<br>
2. Continually assess ongoing changes in behavior, circumstances or conditions that may affect child safety. Assessment must be child-focused, trauma-informed, and meet program quality expectations.<br>
3. Provide family preservation interventions, including comprehensive safety planning and clinically informed stabilization planning.<br>
4. Provide feedback and support to crisis line staff to ensure an appropriate response to crisis calls, families&rsquo; needs are addressed through best possible supports, and follow ups are conducted as needed.<br>
5. Ensure immediate responsiveness for all referrals and crises for assigned caseload.<br>
6. Engage and involve children and their caregivers in the casework process.<br>
7. Maintain a case load in accordance with agency policies and procedures and licensing and contract standards.<br>
8. Document progress that children and their family/caregivers make toward risk reduction, achievement of service goals and positive case outcomes.<br>
9. Meet all documentation requirements within the program-required timelines.<br>
10. Comply with immediate reporting and response requirements for safety-related case issues in the field.<br>
11. Transport clients, when needed, according to program protocol.<br>
12. Dispatch within the required time frame to assigned locations, which may include hospitals, police stations, DFPS offices, shelters, community-based settings, or incident locations.<br>
13. Maintain a minimum number of daily or weekly contacts with children and families.<br>
14. Continuously evaluate, develop, and strengthen the quality of rapport with assigned clients.<br>
15. Unfailingly commit to acting in the child&rsquo;s best interest, including supporting the child&rsquo;s relationships with community members and stakeholders.<br>
16. Participate in community meetings and actively engage and communicate with stakeholders as required to ensure services are available.<br>
17. Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and other activities that promote professional growth and development.<br>
18. Compile, prepare, submit, and maintain accurate records, files, forms, statistics, and additional information in accordance with agency policies, licensing and/or contract requirements.<br>

Essential Functions:</b><br>
1. Provide comprehensive, trauma-informed service and safety planning, including immediate risk reduction and short-term therapeutic interventions.<br>
2. Independently coordinate referrals, service planning and documentation of services for assigned caseload.<br>
3. Accept crisis calls and provide support to families in crisis.<br>
4. Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and make independent decisions in the field regarding the safety and well-being of assigned children and families.<br>
5. Complete in-home family preservation services as assigned.<br>
6. Act as a liaison with stakeholders, including legal providers, child protection, law enforcement, federal partners, and others, and ensure both program and local protocol are followed.<br>
7. Participate in community meetings and directly advocating with stakeholders for child services.<br>
8. Participate in weekly face-to-face or phone supervision with the supervisor.<br>
9. Travel approximately 75 percent of the time throughout the region, including overnight stays, frequently requiring the use of personal vehicles.<br>
10. Meet all deadlines required by program supervisor and federal partners.<br>
11. Demonstrate a working knowledge of all Human Trafficking Interdiction policies and procedures.</p><p><b><br>

<b>Work Experience:</b> Required &ndash; Project management experience that includes collecting and reporting data, scheduling regular meetings, and developing procedures. Experience with victims of human trafficking, sexual abuse and neglect, domestic violence or individuals experiencing homelessness and/or addiction. Requires three years working directly with victims or law enforcement.<br>
Excellent leadership, communication and organizational skills is a must. Knowledge of a victim-centered, trauma informed approach to interacting with victims. Administrative knowledge of and/or experience with federal grants, partnership development, protocol development, program development, quality assurance and evaluation is required. Bilingual strongly preferred.</p><p><b><br>
Summary:</b> The Task Force Coordinator is responsible for using sound professional judgment and best practices to facilitate a collaborative task force mission. The task force coordinator will work across government agencies, law enforcement, the non-profit sector and community organizations to organize tasks for meetings, assist with task force projects, and maintain task force materials while ensuring a victim-centered and trauma informed approached is used toward victims/survivors of sex and labor human trafficking.</p><p><b><br>
Critical Action Items &amp; Measurable Deliverables:</b><br>
1. Organize monthly law enforcement general member task force, victim services general member task force and core leadership meetings ensuring all lead Task Force signatories have their priorities included on the agenda<br>
2. Engage and facilitate new task force partnerships, including law enforcement, victim services and other direct service providers<br>
3. Primary point of contact for grant operations and management<br>
4. Facilitate the revision and expansion of Care Coordination protocols, as needed, in partnership with providers across the 12-county service area<br>
5. Formalize Memorandum of Understandings (MOUs)<br>
6. Work in partnership with task force leadership to address gaps in existing services and opportunities to enhance the quality of services to victims/survivors of human trafficking (sex and labor) as identified by partner agencies<br>
7. Distribute task force progress reports to funder and other partners upon request<br>
8. Assist with producing a summary report by the end of Year 2 describing the task force&rsquo;s efforts on labor trafficking, as required<br>
9. Coordinate with victim services regarding a plan of action for law enforcement operations<br>
10. Provide technical assistance and peer-to-peer support, in collaboration with task force leadership, to task force partner agencies, and existing and newer task forces upon request<br>
11. Promote public awareness and recognition of human trafficking, including outreach and funder-approved training, on behalf of the task force for professionals and community organizations to expand task force membership, upon request and as appropriate<br>
12. Maintain task force data on meetings, membership agencies, contact lists, trainings, and other relevant performance measurement data on behalf of the task force<br>
13. Assist grant fiscal agents (victim services and law enforcement) with other relevant performance measurement data, upon request, and led by the grant fiscal agents<br>
14. Assist in overall maintenance of the task force website and social media platforms, as approved and appropriate<br>
15. Participate in community meetings and actively engage and communicate with stakeholders as<br>
16. Participate in workshops, seminars, education programs and other activities that promote professional growth and development<br>

8. Participate in weekly face to face or phone supervision with the supervisor.<br>
9. Frequent travel to assist clients with community resource connections as needed.<br>
