We offer a breadth of professional support services in the areas of business management, communications, systems engineering, analysis, mission execution, and organization performance. BCS Allegient is looking for an Industrial Control Systems - or Operational Technology (ICS/OT) Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER).
The candidate will provide comprehensive support across various phases of the Rural and Municipal Utility Cybersecurity (RMUC) Program, ensuring the success and impact of the program's cybersecurity initiatives in the U.S. energy sector. The RMUC Program is dedicated to improving the ability of 3,000 eligible electric cooperative, public power, and small investor-owned utilities to protect against, detect, respond to, or recover from a cybersecurity threat, and to increasing the participation of eligible utilities in threat information sharing programs.
The candidate will actively engage in: providing technical consulting to DOE personnel related to energy system engineering and operational technology cybersecurity; programmatic activities; contribute to the design of funding, technical assistance, and training opportunities; development of program funding opportunity announcements; and program management processes, including the Financial Assistance Process (pre-selection; project negotiations; award, technical assistance, and training implementation and management; post-award and post-event evaluation and management; and administrative phases). In addition, the candidate is expected to build rapport with and provide ongoing support for a portfolio of RMUC eligible utilities and not-for-profit entities. 
 
 
Job Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>U.S. Citizenship</li>
<li>Bachelor's Degree, with 5+ years of experience in electric distribution utility operations or engineering, and 2+ years of experience in cybersecurity in the electric subsector; OR B) 10+ years of combined experience in electric utility operations, engineering, and ICS/OT cybersecurity.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills.</li>
<li>Excellent prioritization and time-management skills.</li>
<li>Understanding of market availability and pricing of current ICS/OT and information technology (IT)cybersecurity tools and technologies.</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Experience with and knowledge of the Department of Energy's processes and procedures.</li>
<li>Experience working with electric cooperative or public power distribution utilities that are not NERC registered entities.</li>

BCS Allegient has an immediate opening for a Budget Analyst to join our team supporting the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Office of Cybersecurity, Energy Security, and Emergency Response (CESER). The Budget Analyst will support a DOE contract by providing comprehensive budget execution, formulation, management, and internal controls reporting. The successful candidate will assist with documenting internal office processes and procedures, tracking and reporting funds, and maintaining financial data. This position plays a key role in supporting CESER mission critical activities.
The candidate must be able to work on-site at DOE HQ (1000 Independence Ave SW, Washington, DC 20585).
Salary Range: $60-$85k depending on qualifications.
Key Responsibilities
<ul><li>Maintain organized records, files, and documentation in accordance with program requirements.</li>
<li>Provide general budget support, including budget execution, formulation, management, and reporting.</li>
<li>Track deadlines and execute deliverables to support budget and internal control requirements.</li>
<li>Assist with preparing summaries, trackers, and basic reports.</li>
<li>Develop documentation of budget and internal control process and procedures.</li></ul> 
 
 
Job Requirements: 
<ul>
<li>U.S. citizenship</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in accounting, finance, business management or related disciplines</li>
<li>2-4 years of experience supporting government programs or administrative or budget operations</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)</li>
<li>Experience using SharePoint for document management and collaboration</li>
<li>Ability to work both independently and as an effective member of a collaborative team</li>
<li>Exceptional communication skills</li>
<li>Exceptional attention to detail and organization skills</li>
<li>Strong prioritization and time management skills</li>
</ul>
Preferred Qualifications:
<ul><li>Prior experience supporting Department of Energy or Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency contracts</li>
<li>Knowledge of DOEs internal budget and reporting software tools</li>
<li>Knowledge of COGNOS (or similar) based report development tools</li></ul></div>
