 Role Summary:
 
 
 
 We are seeking a mid-senior legal professional to join our in-house Contracts Team at BDO India. The role will focus on managing the full lifecycle of a wide range of commercial contracts, driving process excellence, leading and training a team to support the firm&rsquo;s complex and evolving business needs.
 
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Responsibilities:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 Draft, review, and negotiate SAAS contracts, End User License Agreements, Master Service Agreements, Service Provider Agreements, Consultancy Contracts, Trademark Licensing Agreements, Reseller Agreements, Joint Business Agreements, Joint Venture Agreements, and Licensing Agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts including Client Service Engagement Letters, Investment Banking Contracts, Non-Disclosure Agreements, Vendor Agreements, Sub-Contracts, Loan Staffing Contracts, and Referral Agreements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Draft contracts from scratch and create/maintain standard templates.
 </li>
 <li>
 Negotiate contracts with clients, vendors, and third parties.
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct research on relevant matters concerning the applicable laws.
 </li>
 <li>
 Manage internal stakeholder requirements related to contracts.
 </li>
 <li>
 Build and train a team, and collaborate with junior resources.
 </li>
 <li>
 Create SOPs and procedures to manage the contract review function.
 </li>
 <li>
 Provide guidance on data protection legislation and insurance requirements.
 </li>
 <li>
 Adapt and integrate AI tools for contract management.
 </li>
 <li>
 Address other matters necessary to support the contract management scope
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 
 
 
 Key Requirements:
 
 
 <ul>
 <li>
 8 -15 years PQE with an LLB degree (CS, LLM, and specialized contract law experience/courses preferred).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong leadership skills and experience managing teams.
 </li>
 <li>
 Focused and detail-oriented with high analytical thinking.
 </li>
 <li>
 High proficiency in English (verbal and written).
 </li>
 <li>
 Strategic thinking and ability to build processes.
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
 </li>
