 The Facility Specialist is responsible for overseeing the daily needs and maintenance of the organization's facilities. This role ensures that the facilities are safe, functional, and well-maintained, providing a conducive environment for employees and visitors compliant with all regulations. This position would report to the Senior Director of Operations
 
 
 
 
 Duties and Responsibilities
 
 
 :
 <ul>
 <li>
 Facility Management: Oversee the maintenance and repair of buildings, equipment, and grounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Vendor Coordination: Manage relationships with vendors and service providers, ensuring timely and cost-effective services. Coordinate with contractors and vendors for repairs, maintenance, and renovations
 </li>
 <li>
 Collaborate with other departments to support organizational needs and projects
 </li>
 <li>
 Space Planning: Coordinate space allocation and layout planning to optimize the use of facilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Staff Supervision: Supervise vendors, maintenance workers and custodians
 </li>
 <li>
 Inventory Management: Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels
 </li>
 <li>
 Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Develop and implement facility maintenance management policies and procedures
 </li>
 <li>
 Conduct regular inspections and audits of facilities to identify and address issues
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Qualifications
 
 
 :
 <ul>
 <li>
 Experience: 5 years of experience in facility management or a related role
 </li>
 <li>
 Skills: Strong organizational and multitasking skills, excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, proficiency in facility management software, and knowledge of safety regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong knowledge of building systems, maintenance procedures, and safety regulations
 </li>
 <li>
 Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities
 </li>
 <li>
 Effective communication and interpersonal skills
 </li>
 <li>
 Proficiency in facility management software and Microsoft Office Suite
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to work flexible hours and respond to emergencies as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 
 
 Required: HVAC Certification or degree, with preference for previous industrial HVAC experience.&nbsp;
 
 
 
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Preferred Qualifications
 
 
 :
 <ul>
 <li>
 Education: Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; with equivalency considered for work experience.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Certification in Facility Management (e.g., FMP, CFM)
 </li>
 <li>
 Experience in managing large facilities or multiple locations
 </li>
 </ul>
 
 
 Essential Job Functions

 <li>
 Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed
 </li>
 <li>
 Physical ability to conduct inspections and oversee maintenance activities
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to stand and sit for long periods of time (4+ hours).&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to lift, push, and move objects up to 50+ pounds
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to climb ladders and scaffolding.&nbsp;
 </li>
 <li>
 Ability to drive in inclement weather.&nbsp;
 </li>

 Compensation and Benefits
 
 
 :

 $30-36 per hour, commensurate with experience
 </li>
 <li>
