Beachwood Brewing is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Brand Ambassador &amp; Marketing Assistant to support our marketing, merchandising, and event efforts. Beachwood supports a fun, team-oriented culture and is committed to investing in our employees by encouraging professional growth and offering advancement opportunities.POSITION TYPE:Part-time hourly (24-32 hours per week)$20-$22/hr depending on experienceIDEAL CANDIDATE:<ul><li>Passionate about experiential marketing, events, and brand storytelling</li><li>Enthusiastic about the beverage and hospitality industry</li><li>Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive</li><li>Adaptable, hands-on, and comfortable wearing many hats</li><li>Confident engaging with customers and representing a brand publicly</li></ul>REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:<ul><li>Must be 21+ with a valid driver&rsquo;s license and clean driving record.</li><li>Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or related field or equivalent experience.</li><li>Based near Long Beach / Huntington Beach.</li><li>Ability to lift and transport event equipment and beer (up to 50 pounds).</li><li>Comfortable driving company vehicles (Sprinter Van) for events.</li><li>Flexible availability, including nights and weekends. March&ndash;October: expect to work most Saturdays (some Sundays).</li><li>Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and adaptable to evolving priorities.</li><li>Strong communication and customer engagement skills.</li></ul>MARKETING &amp; ADMINISTRATIVE<ul><li>Compile bi-weekly tap sign requests and coordinate reports for the design team</li><li>Assist with influencer research and outreach for brewery visits</li><li>Support TikTok content creation (if experienced), collaborating with the Content Specialist</li><li>Conduct competitive research, including:</li></ul>&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; Apparel and merchandise trend tracking&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; Partner research for on-site activations and collaborations&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; Identifying community groups for pop-ups (e.g., car clubs, book clubs, small businesses)&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; Monitoring social media and cultural trendsMERCHANDISING &amp; E-COMMERCE<ul><li>Fulfill online Shopify orders and internal location orders</li><li>Assist with visual merchandising and retail display optimization</li><li>Monitor merchandise inventory, including bi-weekly inventory audits</li><li>Support merchandise operations, including:</li></ul>&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;Packing custom gift boxes&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;&gt;Preparing and organizing new merchandise by size and styleEVENTS &amp; BRAND AMBASSADOR<ul><li>Represent Beachwood Brewing at festivals, charity events, and brand activations.</li><li>Prepare and organize event kits, ensuring all equipment and supplies are event-ready (This includes organizing when items are returned after events).</li><li>Transport, set up, and break down event equipment (jockey boxes, displays, beverages) with items up to 50 pounds.</li><li>Operate Jocky Box draft pouring systems (training provided).</li><li>Engage with consumers, educate on Beachwood products, and create memorable brand experiences.</li><li>Assist with creative event elements, including themed d&eacute;cor and photo opportunities.</li><li>Complete post-event recaps and performance reports.</li></ul>REPORTS TO:Marketing DirectorTO APPLY, EMAIL RESUME TO marketing@beachwoodbrewing.com WHY WORK AT BEACHWOOD:<ul><li>Fun, team-oriented, and collaborative culture</li><li>Hands-on experience across marketing, events, and merchandising</li><li>Opportunity for professional growth and advancement</li><li>Work with a respected and creative Southern California craft brand</li></ul>ABOUT BEACHWOOD BREWING:Beachwood Brewing started in 2006 with a restaurant and beer bar in Seal Beach before opening its first Brewery and Taproom in Downtown Long Beach in 2011.
