Job SummaryWe are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Legal Assistant/Paralegal to join our team. This entry-level position offers an exciting opportunity to support a wide range of legal functions across multiple practice areas, including family law and personal injury.The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a passion for legal research and document management, and the ability to provide exceptional administrative support.This paid role is designed to develop your legal expertise while contributing to impactful cases and projects within a collaborative environment.Duties<ul><li>Assist attorneys with legal research to support case development and strategy.</li><li>Prepare, review, and proofread legal documents such as contracts, pleadings, briefs, and correspondence with precision and attention to detail.</li><li>Manage legal case files using DropBox, ensuring all records are accurate, organized, and easily accessible.</li><li>Conduct thorough document review and data entry for litigation cases.</li><li>Support project management tasks by coordinating deadlines, scheduling meetings, and maintaining calendars for multiple attorneys.</li><li>Perform administrative duties including filing, transcription, proofreading, and maintaining client and case information.</li><li>Conduct interviews with clients or witnesses when necessary to gather relevant information for initial drafting of pleadings.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong knowledge of or the ability to look up local court rules for King, Pierce, &amp; Snohomish Counties.</li><li>Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.</li><li>Effective communication skills demonstrated through professional phone etiquette and clear writing abilities for drafting documents or correspondence.</li><li>Experience with document review processes and familiarity with contracts and legal drafting standards.</li><li>Administrative experience supporting attorneys through clerical tasks such as filing, data entry, proofreading, transcription and document management.</li></ul>Pay: $25.00 - $29.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>401(k) matching</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li></ul>Work Location: In person
