Location: Southern NH &amp; Southern ME (Berwick, Wells, Eliot, Kittery ME &amp; Dover, Rollinsford, Somersworth, Barrington, Lee, Madbury, Newmarket, Northwood, Nottingham, Strafford NH)Schedule:<ul><li>Monday &ndash; Thursday (long weekends off!)</li><li>Routes typically run 6:30 AM &ndash; 2:00/3:00 PM, occasionally until 4:00 PM</li><li>Paid 40 hours/week salary, even though most weeks are 32 hours or less</li><li>Fridays off (except during holiday weeks or weather delays)</li></ul>Job Overview Beacon Waste Services is a small, family-owned company founded in 2017. We take pride in providing reliable curbside trash collection while treating both employees and customers with honesty, respect, and teamwork. We run new, well-maintained trucks and have built a strong reputation across the communities we serve in Southern NH and Southern ME.Responsibilities<ul><li>Drive company trash trucks on residential and commercial collection routes</li><li>Collect curbside trash, dumpsters, and light walk-up services (minimal)</li><li>Perform basic truck checks: refuel, top off DEF fluid, report maintenance issues</li><li>Follow DOT and company safety standards</li><li>Work outdoors in all weather conditions</li><li>Safely and efficiently complete routes on time</li></ul>What We&rsquo;re Looking For<ul><li>Clean driving record required</li><li>CDL license is great, but not required</li><li>Must obtain a DOT medical card (company will assist if you don&rsquo;t have one)</li><li>Prior commercial driving or waste industry experience preferred &mdash; but we will train the right person</li><li>Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly</li><li>Must pass background check &amp; participate in regular random drug testing</li></ul>Compensation &amp; Perks<ul><li>Quarterly bonuses</li><li>40 hours of pay for ~35 hours of work most weeks</li><li>3-day weekends (Friday&ndash;Sunday off) in almost all cases</li><li>Modern trucks and equipment</li><li>Small, family-oriented work culture</li></ul>Hiring TimelineOur current driver is retiring in May 2026.
