<div>We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Human Resources Coordinator to support our growing organization. This role provides direct assistance to the Human Resources Department across recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, compliance, personnel file management, and daily administrative tasks. The ideal candidate is organized, professional, and enjoys creating structure and improving HR workflows.
Key Responsibilities
Employee Lifecycle &amp; Records<ul><li>
Assist with full-cycle onboarding, including preparing offer letters, new-hire paperwork, background checks, and orientation.</li><li>
Maintain accurate and compliant personnel files in accordance with company policies and state/federal regulations.</li><li>
Update and manage the Master Employee Roster, HRIS data, and employee records.</li><li>
Support offboarding tasks, exit interviews, termination processing, and retrieval of company assets.</li></ul>
Recruitment &amp; Staffing Support<ul><li>
Post job openings on ADP, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other platforms.</li><li>
Screen resumes and coordinate interviews with candidates and hiring managers.</li><li>
Assist with pre-employment requirements (drug tests, MVR checks, certifications, I-9 documentation, etc., if applicable).</li></ul>
HR Administration &amp; Compliance<ul><li>
Prepare HR forms, notices, letters, and internal documents.</li><li>
Track and maintain certification/credential expirations, training requirements, and employee status changes.</li><li>
Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and ensure compliance with company policies, FLSA, FMLA, and other employment regulations.</li><li>
Support workplace safety initiatives, audits, and investigations as needed.</li></ul>
Employee Relations &amp; Communication<ul><li>
Serve as a first point of contact for employee HR questions.</li><li>
Assist in scheduling training, meetings, evaluations, and compliance reminders.</li><li>
Support Human Resources leadership with special projects and process improvements.</li></ul>
Payroll Support (In Absence of Payroll Specialist)<ul><li>
Process weekly or biweekly payroll through ADP or designated payroll system.</li><li>
Enter or verify hours, PTO, overtime, and employee schedule changes.</li><li>
Ensure accurate pay adjustments, new hire setup, and termination pay processing.</li><li>
Verify compliance with wage-and-hour laws and company pay policies.</li><li>
Coordinate with HR leadership to resolve payroll discrepancies promptly.</li><li>
Maintain payroll reports and assist with audit requests as necessary.</li></ul>
Required<ul><li>
1&ndash;3 years of HR, payroll, or administrative support experience.</li><li>
Strong attention to detail with high accuracy in documentation and data entry.</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li><li>
Proficiency with MS Office; experience with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.</li><li>
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.</li></ul>
Preferred<ul><li>
Experience in industries with compliance/safety requirements (e.g., construction, energy, transportation, industrial).</li><li>
Understanding of payroll processes, wage laws, and HR compliance.</li><li>
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.</li></ul>
