About UsWe are a Houston-based beauty company operating a portfolio of established and growing brands, including Scruples (professional haircare), blowpro (styling tools &amp; products), and Pet Silk (pet grooming), along with several emerging brands.Our products are distributed across professional salons, retail, and e-commerce channels, and we are actively investing in building a stronger, more modern digital and social presence across all brands.We&rsquo;re looking for someone who wants to be part of that growth and help take our brands to the next level.Job DescriptionWe are seeking a creative, proactive Social Media Manager to lead content and growth across our portfolio of brands.This is not an entry-level or posting-only role.We&rsquo;re looking for someone who can own social media from end to end &mdash; from idea to execution to performance &mdash; and bring fresh, strategic thinking to help scale our brands across TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.Key ResponsibilitiesContent Strategy &amp; Planning<ul><li>Develop and execute social media strategies across multiple brands</li><li>Build and manage monthly content calendars aligned with product launches and campaigns</li><li>Stay ahead of trends and proactively bring new ideas</li></ul>Content Creation<ul><li>Shoot and edit short-form video content (TikTok, Reels, etc.)</li><li>Create engaging, in-office and behind-the-scenes content</li><li>Develop original content concepts &mdash; not just execute assigned tasks</li></ul>Platform Management<ul><li>Tailor content for each platform:</li><li>TikTok: trend-driven, short-form video</li><li>Instagram: lifestyle + educational + brand storytelling</li><li>Facebook: educational and product-focused content</li><li>Ensure each brand maintains a distinct voice and audience alignment</li></ul>Multi-Brand Management<ul><li>Manage social media across a portfolio of brands with different audiences and positioning</li><li>Prioritize time and content based on brand importance and business goals</li><li>Maintain strong consistency for core brands while supporting smaller brands strategically</li></ul>Engagement &amp; Community Oversight<ul><li>Oversee engagement across platforms (comments, DMs, interactions)</li><li>Guide tone of voice and response strategy</li><li>Support influencer engagement and community growth efforts</li></ul>TikTok Live Oversight (BlowPro)<ul><li>Oversee and optimize 2 weekly TikTok Lives</li><li>Work with hosts and internal team to improve performance, structure, and engagement</li><li>Continuously test and implement ideas to increase conversions and viewership</li></ul>Performance Tracking &amp; Reporting<ul><li>Track weekly performance across all brands (views, reach, engagement, growth)</li><li>Provide clear reports and insights to ownership</li><li>Identify top-performing content and scale successful strategies</li></ul>Ownership &amp; Execution<ul><li>Own the full content lifecycle: ideation &rarr; creation &rarr; posting &rarr; optimization</li><li>Maintain consistent posting across all platforms, ensuring each core brand has regular, high-quality content published weekly</li><li>Quickly execute on trends and time-sensitive opportunities</li></ul>Leadership &amp; Growth<ul><li>Take ownership of social media across all brands</li><li>Bring ideas to improve and scale our social media efforts</li><li>Help build and structure a growing social media department over time</li></ul>Requirements<ul><li>2+ years of social media/content experience</li><li>Strong experience with TikTok and Instagram</li><li>Proven ability to create engaging short-form video content</li><li>Basic video editing skills (CapCut, Premiere, or similar)</li><li>Experience managing multiple brands or accounts simultaneously</li><li>Strong understanding of social media trends and platform behavior</li></ul>Portfolio REQUIRED (applications without examples will not be considered)Preferred (Bonus)<ul><li>Beauty, haircare, or lifestyle industry experience</li><li>Experience with TikTok Live or TikTok Shop</li><li>Experience working in an in-house brand environment</li></ul>Pay: $19.00 - $24.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>401(k)</li><li>Employee discount</li><li>Health insurance</li><li>Paid time off</li><li>Professional development assistance</li></ul>Education:<ul><li>Bachelor's (Required)</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Social media management: 2 years (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Houston, TX 77073 (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
