Job Summary:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
In this role, you will report to the MEP Lead and be accountable for supervising and managing the work of the customer&rsquo;s designers and contractors in the delivery of design for the airport terminal buildings mechanical systems design including HVAC systems, emergency ventilation systems, pumping systems, horizontal &amp; vertical transportation systems (elevators, escalators and moving walks), and building maintenance systems.</li><li>
You will prepare estimates, work plans, progress reports and assist with the tender, evaluation and award recommendations for the MEP contractor(s).</li><li>
You will coordinate and collaborate with other teams such as the Terminal Delivery teams, Stakeholder Management, Contracts &amp; Procurement and Start-up/Commissioning as required through all stages of the Project life cycle.</li><li>

Major Responsibilities:</b></h2></div><div><ul><li>
Supervision and management of the customer&rsquo;s designers and contractors in the delivery of terminal buildings mechanical systems design.</li><li>
Review of technical submissions from designers and contractors relating to mechanical systems.</li><li>
Support to Contracts &amp;amp; Procurement in the delivery of design to support procurement and post tender technical evaluation and award recommendations.</li><li>
Monitoring &amp;amp; reporting on the progress and performance of the customer&rsquo;s designers and contractors.</li><li>
Coordination with the Stakeholder Management team to ensure that all required permits and approvals are achieved in a timely manner throughout the Project life cycle.</li><li>
Support to Construction &amp;amp; Quality delivery teams during the execution of the works relating to terminal buildings mechanical systems, including resolution of requests for information, field change requests, non-conformance reports and work inspection requests.</li><li>
Support the undertaking of vendor factory testing &amp;amp; inspections for mechanical systems.</li><li>
Support to Start-Up/Commissioning team from the outset to ensure that start-up/commissioning and hand-over requirements are addressed early in the design process and support the conduct of testing and commissioning during the execution of the works.</li><li>
Coordinate mechanical systems design with other project disciplines, review project design criteria, vendor submissions, construction inspection records and startup test reports</li><li>
Coordinate mechanical systems design integration across numerous contracts, work packages and stakeholders.</li><li>
Liaison with customer representatives as the subject matter expert and accountable person for delivery of mechanical systems engineering documentation, including presentations and reporting as required.</li><li>
Undertake audits, reports and present findings of designer, contractor, stakeholder and project team application and adherence to engineering processes and policies.</li><li>

Bechtel is partnering with NextDecade to support their vision to provide the world access to lower carbon intensive energy with their Rio Grande LNG (RGLNG) project in Brownsville, Texas. RGLNG is a natural gas liquefaction and export terminal situated on a 984-acre site on the banks of the Brownsville ship channel. The first phase of the RGLNG project consists of three liquefaction trains, two storage tanks and one marine berth. At full capacity, the five-train facility will have a production capacity of 27 million tonnes per annum (MTPA). Brownsville, Texas is a city known for its diverse history, tradition, and rich culture. Working collaboratively with our customer, Expo 2030 Riyadh Company (ERC), Bechtel will manage the infrastructure program which comprises early works, utilities, and publicly accessible spaces like streets and parks.
