<div>Behavioral Health Associates (BHA) is an educational organization. We offer an academic learning environment integrated with behavioral support services for students diagnosed with emotional/behavioral disorders to empower the students in overcoming challenges and creating new stories for their lives. 
We currently have an opening for a full-time, year-round IT Helpdesk Technician. 
POSITION GOAL

You will be the first line of defense for our users, providing efficient and friendly support across a range of hardware, software, and network issues. 
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
<ul>
<li>Troubleshoot user issues related to desktops, laptops, Chromebooks, iPads, Onescreen Interactive Whiteboards, projectors, software applications, network connectivity, as well as other devices and applications. 
</li>
<li>Provide clear and concise explanations of technical concepts to users with varying levels of technical expertise.</li>
<li>Document issues and resolutions to build a knowledge base and improve future support.</li>
<li>Escalate complex issues to senior IT staff as needed.</li>
<li>Maintain and update ticketing system and documentation.</li>
<li>Stay up-to-date on the latest technology trends and best practices.</li>
<li>Travel between our locations to support our various buildings and programs.</li>
<li>Contribute to a positive and collaborative IT environment.</li>
<li>Attend staff meetings as required.</li>
<li>Follow any other job-related directions or duties as instructed by your supervisor.</li></ul> 


QUALIFICATIONS
<ul>
<li>Experience in a technical support role, in an IT Helpdesk setting, preferred.</li>
<li>Valid PA Drivers License, required.</li>
<li>Strong understanding of computer hardware, software, and networking concepts.</li>
<li>Passionate about technology and willing to learn new things.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as a team.</li>
<li>Experience with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, and Microsoft Office.</li>
<li>Strong written and oral communication skills.</li>
<li>Ability to problem-solve and methodical approach to troubleshooting.</li>
<li>Certifications in IT support or related fields, preferred.</li>
<li>Customer service experience, preferred.</li>
<li>Basic knowledge of structured cabling, preferred.</li>
<li>Use power tools (drills, saws, cable pullers, etc.) for installation and mounting tasks.</li>
<li>Perform basic construction tasks such as drilling, cutting, anchoring, and bracket installation.</li></ul> 


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
<ul>
<li>Ability to lift and carry equipment up to 50 lbs regularly.</li>
<li>Comfortable standing, walking, bending, and kneeling for extended periods.</li>
<li>Ability to work in tight spaces, under desks, and in server rooms.</li>
<li>Capability to climb ladders and work with overhead cabling.</li>
<li>Willingness to work in varying environmental conditions (e.g., warm server rooms, construction areas).</li></ul>
