Behavioral Hospital of Bellaire is seeking a Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator to provide transportation for patients to and from the facility for pre-scheduled appointments and help organize and direct patient's daily activities.</div><div></div><div><br>
 <b>Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator Primary Responsibilities Include:</b></div><ul><li>
Provide transportation for patients to and from the facility</li><li>
Report all van maintenance problems to the Department Director</li><li>
Assist with the patient's day to day needs and activities</li><li>
Communicate and consult with the Department Director and other staff members regarding patient care issues and information daily</li><li>
Maintain a clean environment for patients at all times</li><li>
Demonstrate responsibility and sound judgment regarding patient safety</li></ul><div><b>
Transportation/Patient Care Coordinator Shift:</b></div><ul><li>
Monday through Friday 11:00 AM to 7:00 PM</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>

Qualifications:
<div><b>
Education:</b> High school graduate or equivalent.
</div><div><b>Experience:</b> One (1) year of transportation services experience preferred. Priority given to applicants with experience transporting patients.
</div><div><b>Licensure</b><b>: </b>Must maintain a valid as required for transportation of patients.</div><div><b>
Certifications: </b>Successful completion of <i>CPR</i> and <i>Handle With Care</i> certification; certifications may be obtained during orientation.</div><div><b><br>
