About the Role
On behalf of Huawei, a world-renowned IT and Communications Company, we are seeking an experienced HR professional to support the HR operations and people management activities of a business department in Dubai.
The role will work closely with business leaders and employees across areas including capability development, performance management, manager onboarding, talent development and other HR initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of HR processes, excellent communication and coordination skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, international business environment.
Experience in Huawei or another multinational technology or telecommunications company is highly preferred.
Fluency in Chinese and English is required for effective communication with international stakeholders.
Responsibilities
1. Learning & Development and Capability Development
- Support the planning and implementation of employee capability development programs within the business department.
- Coordinate training, learning and enablement activities based on business and employee development needs.
- Support employee capability assessments and related development initiatives.
- Coordinate HR development programs and follow up on implementation and completion.
2. Performance Management
- Support the end-to-end performance management cycle for the business department.
- Coordinate performance management activities and ensure timely completion of key processes.
- Prepare and analyze performance-related HR data and provide insights to business stakeholders.
- Support managers in addressing performance-related matters and follow-up actions.
3. Manager Onboarding & Employee Development
- Support onboarding activities for newly appointed managers.
- Coordinate structured onboarding and transition activities during the first 90 days.
- Support communication and engagement activities for managers and employees.
- Assist with talent development and high-potential employee initiatives.
4. HR Business Support
- Partner with business leaders and employees to provide effective HR support.
- Support the implementation of HR policies, processes and initiatives.
- Provide HR data analysis and operational support to facilitate business decisions.
- Assist with special HR projects and initiatives as required.
5. HR Process & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with HR teams and business stakeholders to ensure effective implementation of HR processes.
- Maintain accurate HR information and ensure timely completion of HR activities.
- Support continuous improvement of HR processes and employee experience.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, Psychology or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience .
- Experience in HR Business Partnering, HR Operations, Talent Development, Performance Management, Learning & Development or related HR functions.
- Strong understanding of HR processes and employee lifecycle management.
- Strong communication, coordination and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced and international environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with Huawei is highly preferred.
- Experience working in an international or overseas environment.
- Previous experience in a multinational technology, telecommunications or ICT company.
- Experience supporting business units as an HRBP or HR generalist.
