This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer relations, and hospitality operations within a fast-paced environment.Responsibilities<ul><li>Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables with a friendly demeanor. </li><li>Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clear communication with kitchen staff. </li><li>Serve food and drinks efficiently while maintaining high standards of presentation and cleanliness. </li><li>Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities through effective suggestive selling techniques. </li><li>Manage guest inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure overall guest satisfaction through attentive service and personalized attention. </li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately using POS systems, process payments, and provide correct change or receipts. </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, reset tables quickly, and assist with bussing to uphold sanitation standards and a tidy environment.</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is highly preferred, especially in fine dining or nightclub settings. </li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable enhances efficiency in order processing and sales tracking. </li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to build rapport and handle guest relations professionally. </li><li>Knowledge of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures is essential. </li><li>Experience in serving or host/hostess roles provides a solid foundation for delivering exceptional guest experiences. </li><li>Basic math skills for cash handling, billing accuracy, and inventory management are necessary. </li><li>Ability to multitask effectively while managing time during busy hours ensures smooth restaurant operations.
