Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be the face of our coffee shop, providing exceptional customer service while crafting high-quality beverages. Your role will involve not only preparing and serving coffee and other drinks but also creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers. Must have great customer service and a Big smile ! If you have a love for coffee and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we want to hear from you!Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other drinks according to established recipes and standards.</li><li>Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly, taking orders accurately, and addressing any inquiries or concerns.</li><li>Operate our Toast POS system for order processing and cash handling efficiently.</li><li>Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment, utensils, and dining areas.</li><li>Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.</li><li>Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies and notifying management of low stock levels.</li><li>Engage with customers to promote sales and suggest menu items based on their preferences.</li><li>Handle cash transactions accurately while performing basic math calculations for change.</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor to help create a positive experience for customers.</li><li>Experience in the food industry is preferred, with knowledge of food safety standards and practices.</li><li>Proficiency in cash handling and retail math to ensure accurate transactions.</li><li>Familiarity with Toast POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus.</li><li>Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.</li><li>Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.</li><li>A passion for coffee culture and willingness to learn about different brewing methods and products.</li></ul>Join us as we create memorable experiences for our customers through exceptional service and delicious beverages!Job Type: Full-timePay: From $15.00 per hourBenefits:<ul><li>Flexible schedule</li><li>Paid training</li></ul>Experience:<ul><li>Guest services: 1 year (Required)</li><li>Barista experience: 1 year (Preferred)</li></ul>Shift availability:<ul><li>Day Shift (Preferred)</li></ul>Ability to Commute:<ul><li>Rockwall, TX 75087 (Required)</li></ul>Ability to Relocate:<ul><li>Rockwall, TX 75087: Relocate before starting work (Required)</li></ul>Work Location: In person
