Job Overview We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in accounting software, GAAP standards, and a passion for maintaining financial integrity.Responsibilities<ul><li>Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, or similar platforms</li><li>Perform bank reconciliations and general ledger reconciliations to ensure consistency across all accounts</li><li>Prepare journal entries, account analysis, and detailed balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with GAAP standards</li><li>Manage accounts payable and receivable processes efficiently, including invoice processing and payment tracking</li><li>Assist with budgeting, financial report writing, and supporting audits by providing necessary documentation and analysis</li><li>Ensure accuracy in debits &amp; credits, double entry bookkeeping, and general ledger accounting practices</li></ul>Skills<ul><li>Proficiency with accounting software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, Quicken, or similar platforms</li><li>Strong understanding of corporate accounting principles, including GAAP and governmental accounting standards</li><li>Experience with account reconciliation, bank reconciliation, and balance sheet reconciliation processes</li><li>Knowledge of tax regulations related to payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and financial reporting</li><li>Ability to perform detailed journal entries and account analysis with precision</li><li>Familiarity with technical accounting concepts such as double entry bookkeeping and general ledger management</li><li>Excellent organizational skills including 10 key typing speed for data entry tasks</li><li>Strong communication skills for financial report writing and documentation purposes</li></ul>Join us to be part of a dedicated team that values accuracy, transparency, and continuous improvement.
