This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in food service, customer interaction, and retail operations while working in a lively, fast-paced setting.Duties<ul><li>Prepare and serve a variety of coffee drinks, teas, and specialty beverages with precision and flair </li><li>Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling sandwiches, pastries, and light snacks following food safety standards </li><li>Operate POS systems including Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately </li><li>Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders promptly, and addressing inquiries with enthusiasm </li><li>Manage cash handling responsibilities with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for change </li><li>Maintain cleanliness of the caf&eacute; area, including food handling stations, tables, and equipment in compliance with health regulations </li><li>Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service without sacrificing quality or safety</li></ul>Experience<ul><li>Previous barista experience in a caf&eacute; or coffee shop environment is highly preferred </li><li>Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous </li><li>Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse guests </li><li>Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures </li><li>Ability to perform retail math accurately for cash handling and sales transactions </li><li>Experience in food preparation, serving, or food industry roles is beneficial </li><li>Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during peak hours</li></ul>Join us to deliver memorable coffee experiences while honing your skills in a dynamic team environment.
