 Job Title: Senior Accountant (Fit-Out / Contracting)
 
 
 
 
 
 Job Summary
 
 
 
 
 
 We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to oversee financial operations within a fit-out contracting environment. The candidate will be responsible for managing project-based accounting, cost control, financial reporting, and ensuring compliance with company policies and local regulations.

 Key Responsibilities
 
 
 
 
 
 1. Financial Management &amp; Reporting
 
 
 &bull;	Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
 
 
 &bull;	Monitor cash flow, budgeting, and financial forecasting
 
 
 &bull;	Maintain general ledger and ensure accuracy of all financial transactions
 
 
 &bull;	Prepare management reports and financial analysis for decision-making
 
 
 
 
 
 2. Project Accounting (Critical for Fit-Out)
 
 
 &bull;	Track project costs against budgets (materials, labor, subcontractors)
 
 
 &bull;	Monitor project profitability and cost deviations
 
 
 &bull;	Coordinate with project managers for cost allocation and reporting
 
 
 &bull;	Review BOQs, variations (VOs), and project billing
 
 
 
 
 
 3. Accounts Payable &amp; Receivable
 
 
 &bull;	Manage supplier payments, subcontractor invoices, and reconciliations
 
 
 &bull;	Follow up on client payments and maintain strong cash flow
 
 
 &bull;	Review contracts and payment terms to ensure compliance
 
 
 
 
 
 4. Cost Control &amp; Budgeting
 
 
 &bull;	Implement cost control procedures across all projects
 
 
 &bull;	Analyze variances between actual vs. budgeted costs
 
 
 &bull;	Support procurement and commercial teams in cost evaluation
 
 
 
 
 
 5. Compliance &amp; Audit
 
 
 &bull;	Ensure compliance with local tax regulations and financial policies
 
 
 &bull;	Coordinate with external auditors and prepare audit schedules
 
 
 &bull;	Maintain proper documentation for all financial transactions
 
 
 
 
 
 6. Payroll &amp; HR Coordination
 
 
 &bull;	Oversee payroll processing in coordination with HR
 
 
 &bull;	Ensure compliance with labor laws and employee benefits

 Qualifications
 
 
 &bull;	Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
 
 
 &bull;	Professional certification (CPA / ACCA / CMA) is preferred
 
 
 &bull;	Minimum 5&ndash;8 years of experience, with at least 3 years in contracting or fit-out industry
