 Responsibilities
 <ul>

<li>Handles requests from residents who require assistance with meal selection or have specific needs.</li>
<li>Sets up the dining room for the next scheduled meal.</li>

Requirements
 <ul>
<li>Must be able to follow written and oral instructions.</li>
<li>Must have knowledge of dietary procedures and related Health Department regulations and guidelines for food service operations.</li>
<li>Must be able to serve food and beverages for residents in a prompt and efficient manner.</li>
<li>Be able to lift up to 50lbs.</li>
<li>This is primarily a standing position and required to stand in one place for extended periods of time.</li>

Benchmark Senior Living is looking for a compassionate Certified Medication Technician to join our team! As a CMT, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.
 Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Communicates questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration to the Resident Care Director (RCD).</li>
<li>Communicates any significant change of mental or physical status of resident to RCD.</li>
<li>Documents supervision of self-administration in MAR.</li>
<li>Documents/ notifies RCD of administration of prn meds.</li>
<li>Responsible for documentation on prn meds and affect.</li>
<li>Recognizes and can assist in the prevention of elder abuse, neglect, and exploitation.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>Must have state Medication Technician License and demonstrate competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration</li>
<li>Successfully complete medication technician competency review (as supervised by RN / RCD) quarterly</li>
<li>CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire</li>
<li>The Medication Technician must complete a state approved training course in drug administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory successful completion.</li>
<li>Med-Techs will be evaluated on their competency by the RCD each quarter</li>
<li>Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program</li>
<li>High School education preferred</li>

MNA - Medication Nursing Assistant

We are looking for a housekeeper to join our team! As a Benchmark housekeeper, your main role will be to maintain a community that is safe and clean for residents, associates, and visitors. You will be responsible for laundering towels, bed linens, and resident laundry, and the upkeep of resident apartments.

Responsibilities
 
<ul>
<li>Thoroughly cleans all assigned resident apartments as scheduled by the supervisor including:</li>
<li>Bathrooms: toilet bowl, sinks, and bathtubs, wipes countertops, and mirrors, and sterilizes floors</li>
<li>Kitchen: wipes counters and under objects, mops kitchen floor</li>
<li>Vacuum all exposed areas completely, including edges.</li>
<li>Empties and rinses (if necessary) wastebaskets.</li>
<li>Washes inside of windows as needed.</li>
<li>Cleans all common areas according to standards and practices including elevators, halls, landings, stairs, resident activity areas, lobbies, and model units, and cleans other flat surfaces as scheduled or requested by the supervisor.</li>
<li>Maintains a clean laundry room in an orderly manner and stores chemicals in accordance with product or supervisor instruction.</li>
</ul>
Requirements
 
<ul>
<li>A high school diploma or GED is preferred.</li>
<li>Experience cleaning residential or commercial settings is preferred, but we will train.</li>
<li>Understands the practices surrounding the proper handling of biohazardous waste.</li>
