Compensation:
$175,000 - $250,000 yearly
Responsibilities:
Client Advocacy<ul><li>
Lead strategy and execution in complex business disputes</li><li>
Handle complaints, motions, discovery, depositions, mediations, arbitrations, and court appearances</li><li>
Communicate proactively with clients to align legal strategy with business goals</li></ul> 
Team Leadership &amp; Mentorship<ul><li>
Supervise and mentor junior attorneys (2&ndash;4 years&rsquo; experience)</li><li>
Delegate strategically to develop talent and maintain excellence</li><li>
Review briefs, filings, and strategies to ensure quality and consistency</li></ul> 
Practice Growth<ul><li>
Help refine BLG&rsquo;s disputes client mix and deepen focus on high-value matters</li><li>
Collaborate with firm leadership to improve litigation systems and processes</li><li>
Contribute to building a practice that is sustainable, respected, and rewarding</li></ul> 
Typical Case Types<ul><li>
Co-founder and equity holder disputes</li><li>
Breach of fiduciary duty and fraud claims</li><li>
Complex breach of contract disputes (six- or seven-figure damages)</li><li>
Trade secret misappropriation</li><li>
Commercial real estate or investment-related disputes</li><li>
Strategic IP-related conflicts</li></ul>
Qualifications:
Must Haves
Only those who are currently licensed attorneys in the state of California will be considered for this position<ul><li>
J.D. and an active California Bar license in good standing</li><li>
10+ years&rsquo; experience in complex commercial or business litigation</li><li>
Proven courtroom and ADR skills (motions, depositions, mediations, arbitrations; trial experience preferred)</li><li>
Strong drafting, analytical, and communication skills</li><li>
Experience supervising and mentoring attorneys</li><li>
Comfortable with remote work tools (Zoom, Slack, Clio, Dropbox)</li></ul> 
Nice to Haves<ul><li>
Federal court admission (especially Northern District of California)</li><li>
Experience with IP-related disputes</li></ul>
