Core Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul>
<li>Provide leadership and guidance to the front-end and side loader operators.</li>
<li>Ensure that all safety rules and procedures are followed rigorously by the crew.</li>
<li>Regularly assess the performance of the sideloader operations, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions to minimize unplanned downtime.</li>
<li>Oversee the execution of programs aimed at maintaining a clean and organized facility.</li>
<li>Keep training materials up-to-date and ensure ongoing training for lift operators to enhance their performance.</li>
<li>Act as a bridge between team members and management, fostering cooperation across departments.</li>
<li>Conduct performance reviews to evaluate competency, knowledge, and contributions.</li>
<li>Ensure that regular equipment audit checks and inspections are conducted by the lift operators. Any identified issues should be promptly reported to the shop maintenance team for timely resolution.</li>
<li>Oversee accurate inventory tracking within the finished goods yard. Regularly conduct cycle counts to verify stock levels, identify discrepancies, and maintain precise records of product quantities.</li>
<li>Oversee truck movement in the shipping/dispatch yard to ensure that truck drivers are following our procedures and safety protocols when loading the trucks or driving on BENTELER property.</li></ul><br>

Job Requirements</b></div>
<ul>
<li>High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED).</li>
<li>Bachelor&rsquo;s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or a related field preferred or equivalent work experience</li>
<li>Experience in a manufacturing environment with safety programs and incident accountability.</li>
<li>Experience with heavy mobile equipment.</li>
<li>Strong safety awareness and experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrated capability of results through people, technology, and process.</li></ul><br>

Primary Responsibilities</b></div>
<ul><li>Supervise the production shift team.</li>
<li>Provide end-of-shift report detailing activities of the shift.</li>
<li>Provide production support to the manufacturing line in all areas of the process as necessary.</li>
<li>Support and execute programs and procedures to ensure compliance to all safety rules and applicable Safe Operating Procedures (SOP&rsquo;s).</li>
<li>Enforce quality control measures to ensure product meets and/or exceeds governing specifications.</li>
<li>Monitor and evaluate the performance of the production process and develop countermeasures to minimize unplanned downtime and maintain a high product quality level.
</li><li>Setup and ensure the execution of housekeeping programs required to ensure facility cleanliness.</li>
<li>Perform and be actively involved in safety and quality incident reporting and develop processes and/or procedures to prevent reoccurrence.
</li><li>Maintain proper and updated training material end ensure continuous training of the assigned employees to support highest performance requirements.</li>
<li>Ensure that team's goals are aligned with and representative of the overall company's directive.
</li><li>Act as liaison between the assigned team members and the management.</li>
<li>Initiate and foster a spirit of cooperation within and between departments.</li>
<li>Conduct regular employee performance review(s) to determine competency, knowledge and contribution and set achievable goals for each team member.</li>
<li>Ensure operation of equipment with direct communication with maintenance personnel and providing trouble shooting support to the maintenance teams.</li>
<li>Provide manufacturing information by compiling, initiating, sorting, and analyzing production performance records and data.</li>
<li>Be responsible for planning, directing or coordinating work activities and obtain resources necessary to meet safety, quality, and production targets.</li>
<li>Review processing schedules and production orders and make decisions regarding resources needed to meet those schedules or production orders.
</li><li>Responsible for staffing the respective production areas and ensure the employees in those areas are working safely and efficiently.</li>
</ul>
<div><b>Requirements:</b></div>
<ul><li>Minimum 5 years in a shift supervisor role in a pipe mill facility (Finishing preferred).</li>
<li>General Finishing experience is mandatory, threading operations experience is preferred.</li>
<li>Understanding of data acquisition systems such as IBA is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong safety awareness and experience.</li>
<li>Demonstrated capability of results through people, technology and process.</li>
<li>Basic SAP &amp; general computer knowledge is required.</li></ul><br>
