We are looking for a dynamic Application Engineer with experience in the Civil / Roadway Design industry to join our Solution Engineering team. In this role, you'll act as a storyteller and subject matter expert, partnering with our sales teams to demonstrate the art of the possible to global customers.</div><div><br>

Responsibilities:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Build, maintain, and grow strong, ongoing relationships with Users</li><li>
Serve as the primary liaison between the company and Users, ensuring clear communication and alignment</li><li>
Develop and deliver technical presentations, product demonstrations, and solution overviews</li><li>
Conduct training, mentoring, and consulting sessions to drive product adoption and best practices</li><li>
Coordinate, evaluate, and continuously improve user training materials, tutorials, and learning resources</li><li>
Implement and manage structured onboarding processes for new Users</li><li>
Analyze user engagement, adoption, and usage data to identify trends and improve the user experience</li><li>
Handle and resolve user requests and technical issues, coordinating with internal teams as needed</li><li>
Articulate product capabilities and technology positioning to both technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>
Collaborate cross functionally with Sales, Support, Product, and Engineering teams</li><li>
Support business development initiatives by identifying growth opportunities within the user base</li><li>
Sustain business growth and profitability by ensuring Users maximize value from the solutions</li><li>
Proactively drive and continuously improve User satisfaction, retention, and success outcomes</li><li>
This is an individual contributor role.
</li><li>This is a full-time role expected to work 40 hours per week.
</li><li>This role requires communication with Managers, peers and other colleagues of the company in person, and/or by utilizing Microsoft Teams chat, calling and meeting functions.
</li><li>Occasional travel required.
</li><li>Requires sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer (or any other physical requirements).</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
</b></div><div><b>Qualifications:</b></div><br>
<div></div><ul><li>
Bachelor&rsquo;s degree in civil engineering and/or equivalent practical experience</li><li>
3-5+ years of experience in the Civil / Roadway Design industry</li><li>
Strong familiarity with:<ul><li>
DOT Roadway Design Manuals</li><li>
DOT Standard Drawings</li><li>
DOT drafting and plan preparation requirements</li><li>
Highway and roadway design standards (preferred)</li></ul></li><li>
Proven proficiency with Bentley OpenRoads Designer and OpenSite</li><li>
Experience with legacy Bentley products (InRoads, GEOPAK, MX) is preferred</li><li>
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong presentation abilities</li><li>
Ability to quickly learn, effectively demonstrate, and support Bentley&rsquo;s software product portfolio</li><li>
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills</li><li>
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within cross functional teams</li><li>
Spanish language skills are a plus</li></ul><div></div><div><b><br>
