What We Need from You:
<ul>
<li>Dispatch field service technicians efficiently throughout the workday while balancing customer needs, technician availability, geographic zones, skills, and parts availability.</li>
<li>Manage a high volume of incoming calls, typically 50-100 calls per day, from customers, vendors, technicians, and other team members.</li>
<li>Answer incoming calls professionally and promptly, ideally within three rings, while gathering the information needed to determine the appropriate next steps.</li>
<li>Serve as a primary point of contact between customers, technicians, vendors, and the back office, ensuring clear and timely communication.</li>
<li>Create and dispatch service calls within 15 minutes of receipt, ensuring nothing remains unassigned.</li>
<li>Minimize routing errors, recalls, duplicate assignments, and scheduling conflicts.</li>
<li>Track technician skills, service zones, vehicles, and parts availability to optimize scheduling and assignments.</li>
<li>Process recalls, follow-ups, schedule adjustments, and other requests to support technicians in the field.</li>
<li>Coordinate with vendors and suppliers regarding part availability, pricing, lead times, and delivery schedules.</li>
<li>Order stock parts twice per week based on operational needs and inventory levels while maintaining accurate order records.</li>
<li>Enter new customer profiles and work orders into Davisware with a high level of accuracy.</li>
<li>Support reporting, administrative tasks, and special projects as needed.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.</li>
<li>Two or more years of dispatching, customer service, administrative, or related experience preferred.</li>
<li>Comfortable handling a high volume of phone calls in a fast-paced environment.</li>
<li>Strong verbal and written communication skills with the confidence to communicate with customers, technicians, vendors, and leadership.</li>
<li>Outgoing, personable, and comfortable interacting with a wide variety of people throughout the day.</li>
<li>Strong follow-up skills and the ability to ask questions to gather complete and accurate information.</li>
<li>Excellent organization, multitasking, and prioritization skills.</li>
<li>Ability to make quick decisions and adjust schedules in real time.</li>
<li>Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new software quickly.</li>
<li>Experience with Davisware, Samsara, or other dispatch software is preferred but not required.</li>
<li>Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while managing responsibilities independently.</li>

Physical Requirements:

<li>Ability to remain seated or standing for extended periods while performing computer and phone-based work.</li>
<li>Ability to use standard office equipment, including computers, phones, and other communication systems.</li>
<li>Ability to communicate effectively by phone, email, and in person throughout the workday.</li>
<li>Ability to work in a fast-paced office environment while managing multiple priorities and frequent interruptions.</li>
<li>Occasional ability to lift and carry office materials weighing up to 25 lbs.</li>

BERCO determines compensation based on the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $18-20 hourly. Pay is based on several factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.</div>
